I'll rate this as average, as we didn't eat here, and only stopped for a beer a couple weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon. The bartender was nice, and the beer was cold, however.............. there were a couple large live cockroaches walking around in the ladies room. Kind of ruined our experience. We paid for our beers and left. Enough... More

Finding a restaurant on a Saturday Night in Port Jeff can be a challenge. Most are pretty busy. As we wandered down Main Street, I spotted Billie's sign. We entered looking to see if we would be greeted & seated. When we got someone's attention they pointed toward the restaurant area in back and told us to choose our table.... More

This is the must go place during happy hour. The wings are cheap only 20 cents and certain drinks are half off. If you're there early getting a table should be ok, but it gets harder to get a table later on. The service is lacking and could improve. Some of the servers don't really pay attention and gets back... More

This is always the place we visit when my husband and I come back to Port Jefferson to see family. We meet up with friends. It is always a good time. There is also a little "dining area" in back that has good food.

I stopped at Billies on a Sunday afternoon for a quick drink. After waiting more then a few minutes for the bartender to pull away from customers from other end of the bar, he finally came to take our order. He wasn't rude but, I got the feeling I took him away from important matters. He never introduced himself or... More

I had dinner and a beer at this joint once a week for four years, loved it every time. Great food, good beers on tap and the staff are great. It can get crowded on the weekend, but the perfect weeknight spot.

Billie's is a local dump but could be a charming dive bar if the staff and manager knew how to treat customers. We were ignored for the first 20 minutes of our visit. We were a party of four and the place wasn't too crowded (probably because of the discourteous hired help and management). We waited forever for our meals... More

Whether you are a Long Islander or a visitor, you will be pleased by Port Jefferson's version of "Cheers" when you enter Billie's. Because Port Jefferson is a charming village located at Port Jefferson harbor - where ferries run regularly between this eastern Long Island location and Bridgeport, Connecticut - tourist traffic is always a variable when dining in P.J.... The food is ok (you can get a pretty good hot open sandwich with fries) and the beer is cold. Happy hour is on Billie's time and when you go for an early dinner you see everyone in town including families. Billies is always reliable for wings and the like. The best is when it is a snowy night, the... More
