We had a group of 7 who showed up early on a Saturday night (around 5) with no reservation. We were seated immediately in the upstairs dining area. Three people in our party ordered off of the prix-fixe menu. The rest of us ordered the dinner only. The hummus brought to the table was a bit bland, Everyone ate well,... More

We like to sit outside and eat but they did not have outside seating this past weekend so we ate upstairs. Hostess always makes you feel like you are interrupting them if you do not have a reservation. Just the two of us and very empty on Sunday. Made us sit and wait 10 minutes. Went upstairs and very very... More

The 5th Season tries but never quite makes it, the food is good, not great but good. The wait staff a little distant and absent at times. The ambiance is comfortable, the hostess seems to be doing you a favor by seating you. the experience: Good.... not great.

We went here for brunch on the end of a weekend rip to CT and a ride from Bridgeport to Port Jeff on the ferry. Our decision was based on the high marks it received on trip advisor. We add to the accolades. Without a reservation on a busy Sunday in town, we were seated immediately in the second floor... More

My family dined here on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was moderately busy. The ambience and service were very good. Unfortunately, the entrees were a disappointment. Two in our party ordered the short ribs which did not appear to be short ribs at all, but brisket. While the portions were ample, the meat was overcooked and very dry. I... More

Great service, nicely appointed restaurant. Great food, done to your personal liking. Eaten here several times and they are very consistent on all levels.

the food was ok, the waitstaff was pleasant enough but the drink prices were quite high. Maybe it was just a little too foo foo for me.

Dinner for 4, we had the scallops ...yumm..long island duck..very good...and filet..yumm..the cornbread was outstanding as we're desserts. Mark the waiter was great and knowledgable about the wines. We even had a chat with the Chef after. A very nice, classy experience we will return. Menu changes seasonally, they are going to the fall menu next week.

Some nights, great, other nights good. Most places have not survived in this location, however this place does have a loyal following which speaks for itself.
