Description: Local farms and waters are the inspiration for this New American...
Local farms and waters are the inspiration for this New American restaurant that focuses on preparing menus using ingredients that change with each season. American microbrews and wines are carefully selected to pair with each dish our chefs create. Enjoy our House-Infused Artisanal Cocktails made with seasonal purees and fresh squeezed juices while overlooking the Long Island Sound on either the outdoor patio, upstairs seating or cozy lounge. Established in 2004 in Greenport, this Zagat top-rated restaurant for both food and service moved in Spring 2008 to Port Jefferson harbor.

Great atmosphere and good food

This is a very interesting quaint restaurant with very good food. The salads and aps are exceptional. The main course was not not quite as grand but still very good. We preferred the spaghetti over the specials. The staff was very friendly and welcoming but the service was a bit slow.

Good small plates during happy hour with live music at times. Avoid the fries with truffle oil as they were to greasy but the rest of the dishes were good.

I must have caught a "fill in Bartender" today, as she is charging me .69 cent taxes on every beer that I order....AND no buy backs after 4 - $9.00 beers...Even during Happy Hour!! Oh, but you can get a swilly $5.00 Yingling during HH, but that's it...

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm so sorry you did not have a pleasant bar experience. We do have additional staff for the summer season and they are trained to buy back following every third round of full price drinks as our house policy. We do not buy back for happy hour as it is already a discount.... More

Had dinner here while visiting family a few weeks ago. Come from Las Vegas, it was difficult to compare restaurant options in Port Jefferson. We settled on on Fifth Season as some of the other "nice" places in town probably had a long wait. To everyone's surprise, the food was very good and service was on point. We had a... More

We were there twice in a short span of time, one Friday evening for happy hour, and another night just for a few drinks.I recommend the happy hour, the bar menu is reasonably priced and tasty. The crowd is older which suits me fine. There is live entertainment also.

This is my favorite restaurant in Port Jefferson. The menu is unique with flavor combinations that are unusual but excellent. The wait staff are very knowledgeable about the menu items and specials. The atmosphere is comfortable and peaceful unlike many of the eateries in the area.

I have been twice over the last week. Both times, good food, tasty and I would say cooked with nontrivial recipes. Informal but corteous and quick service. The wine list leaves room to improvement, and most bottles are too expensive. On the other hand, they have some white wines from Long Island which are worth a try, and cost around... More

Service terrible and slow. Dining room was freezing cold. They brought the wrong check out to us with someone's else bill and credit card. Then they brought out sorbet we never ordered. Then they brought our bill with the sorbet we never ordered or ate on there. Would never ever come back here. Waste of money.

Hi Camy, Thank you for your feedback. I'm so sorry you were disappointed with your dining experience, especially since it was your first time dining with us. The air conditioning was on that evening and we certainly would have been happy to lower it for your comfort had you informed us. I apologize for the error your server made with... More
