Local farms and waters are the inspiration for this New American restaurant that focuses on preparing menus using ingredients that change with each season. American microbrews and wines are carefully selected to pair with each dish our chefs create. Enjoy our House-Infused Artisanal Cocktails made with seasonal purees and fresh squeezed juices while overlooking the Long Island Sound on either the outdoor patio, upstairs seating or cozy lounge. Established in 2004 in Greenport, this Zagat top-rated restaurant for both food and service moved in Spring 2008 to Port Jefferson harbor.

Great Service, Great Food

Went here for a pre-theatre dinner with my wife and had a wonderful dining experience. We each started with a Caesar salad and I had the LI duck that was cooked medium rare, which I requested which was very good. It was accompanied with Brussels sprouts, not my favorite veggie, but very good... read more

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! The menu changes seasonally and has never disappointed. I got the gnocchi from the winter menu and it was beyond fantastic. My boyfriend got the spaghetti which he loved and we split the delicious gelato trio for dessert. I am a picky eater and everything was perfect. I wanted to lick the bowl clean. The... More

Fifth or sixth time eating here and always first rate. Service is comparable to a fine French restaurant. Attentive but not doting. Food is excellent and no corkage fee if you bring a local Long Island wine - which we have plenty of. Great stop before hitting Theater Three for a play or comedy night.

Had some apps for a light dinner, everything was great. Also a nice plus is free corkage on Local wines.

Came here for New Year's and it was awesome. Food was spectacular. Service was fantastic. Great way to start 2016! Enjoyed the bisque, shrimp with polenta and the duck was incredible. Nice desserts, too!!

Fresh, seasonal, great tasting. Great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Try and get a table by the window, rest views of the LI sound.

We love coming here; the view from the 2nd floor dining area is of charming LI Sound, the food (changed 5 times yearly to coordinate with local harvests) is sensational and the service sophisticated and courteous

A friend introduced me to this place 4 years ago and since then we've been back several times. Whenever we want a nice place in Port especially if we have friends in from out of town, hands down we choose The Fifth Season. The service is always good. The menu changes seasonally. The food is always excellent. By far it's... More

We dine here fairly often, have had many dishes from their different seasonal menus -- always an excellent meal and service. Our favorite place in Port Jefferson!
