There is so much to say about King's Inn and the hospitality. From the moment I checked in to the time I regretfully had to leave, my stay was top notch. Comfortable rooms and delicious Breakfast. I felt like a celebrity returning to the hey-day movie making days of the North Country!

We recently had a pleasant dinner at King's Inn. I had been here on two prior occasions, though this marks my first review of the restaurant. It would help if you know where King's Inn is located as you must transit a few narrow dirt roads leading to the restaurant. You may not realized it when you do arrive as... More

The food was great, portions aplenty, service was efficient and view was terrific. It's off the beaten path and could use a bit more signage out at the road, but once you get there, it's worth the trouble of finding it. Some people complain about the decor in some of these posts, but it's a country restaurant in upstate New... More

Moving from an urban area back up north left me with a real desire for delectable cuisine. There a very few restaurants within an hour drive that are worth the trek. The King's Inn, however, is worth the trip. While the menu is a little pricier than any others in the area-the quality and portion sizes more than make up... More

Brought my wife and four friends up from Harlingen and Raymondville for dinner. I had heard the place is a legend and that's exactly what we got! Fried Drum, shrimp, and oysters sent down from the (eatin gods) and man was it fantastic. Even the salad and secret sauce raised the bar. Two thumbs up; two thumbs and a big... More

Went for a birthday dinner 7/26/13.They did not have many of the simplest of menu items. No balsamic dressing, no filet mignon, this was a friday evening at 6pm. Our waitress said she wasn't sure if they would have filet for the rest of summer. She commented that because it was a friday evening they were short of many menu... More

I had dinner with some friends end of June, 2013. Food was great as usual. Fresh crisp customized salad, ample appetizer and I had broiled seafood trilogy, which had shrimp, scallops and salmon filet. Although portions are a little smaller than in the past, the amount was adequate. Everyone in my party was pleased with their choices. However, it was... More

We visited Kings Inn last night for Dinner. I have to say they have one of the greatest menus I have every seen. It began with a nice cool crisp salad, a nice large portion appetizer that the three of us shared. I had the Prime Rib and Shrimp. The Rib was cooked perfectly and the Shrimp had just the... More

I have eaten here for both family meals and corporate parties. The food is always excellent and plentiful. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes very very slow. Desserts are generous portions( so is the dinner which means the dessert goes home for later.) Parking is horrible. Steep dirt road with no lighting. The food and decor are worth it... More

Went to dinner at the King's Inn with two friends. We each ordered an appetizer and entree. Each of us ordered something different, and we were all very satisfied. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that they allow you to customize what goes into your dinner salad. The seafood was delicious and I ordered a filet mignon topped with... More
