I'm not sure exactly when Hubba's opened in Port Chester, N.Y., but it had to have been prior to the early 1970's, which is when I started going there as a teenager. Is it a dump? Hell yeah. Is the food good? Same answer! If you are ever around the PC make sure you visit Pat's Hubba Hubba. Get the chili cheeseburger wedge and ask for a "hubba water". You enter there is money taped to every wall with messages some profanity and the smell of fried food. Best known for their all-meat chili smothered on everything from burgers to cheesesteaks. All the menu items are written with marker on foam plates also affixed to the wall. Gets extremely packed and there is only sitting room at the bar... more
