Inspired by the beach culture of coastal California, Mexico, Uruguay and Brazil, bartaco combines healthy, upscale street food with a coastal vibe in a relaxed environment. The minimalistic decor is light and breezy, with the air of a rustic beach resort. The cuisine is rooted in Mexican tradition but pulls from a broad palate of bold, spicy flavors from the Mediterranean, Asia and beyond. The tacos are healthier versions of old-country favorites, filled with fish, fresh vegetables, spit-roasted chicken, and slow-cooked pork to name a few. There are Asian-influenced salads, grilled corn, signature fusion rice bowls, and seasonal market specials on the creative menu. The bartaco beverage menu is just as carefully crafted, and includes bottled Mexican Coca-Cola and hand-pressed fruit sodas. Over 40 tequilas - all 100% agave - have been hand-picked. Our award-winning inspired and refreshing cocktail selections are made with only artisanal spirits and freshly-squeezed juices and are featured along with traditional margaritas, mojitos and caipirinhas. Whether dining with family or enjoying a night out with friends, all will savor the undeniable energy that is the bartaco experience.

This was our off-site dinner for a project team dinner. Bartaco staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had many courses starting with guacamole & chips, followed by mahi mahi salsa, cabbage salad, seasoned corn, cucumbers, fish & chicken tacos, and beef. Very flavorful and served family style. Margaritas were mixed well along with sangria. Dessert was beignets with chocolate... More

Food was good, oyster tacos and mushroom tacos excellent. Busy, not too loud, good service on New Year's eve.

My biggest beef with bar taco is that the tacos just aren't good. They are made on a smaller than standard corn tortilla and the tortilla was straight out of the bag cold. I make my own tortillas at home, BarTaco's tasted like paper with no flavor or mouth feel whatsoever. If you are going to sell me an overpriced... More

I am so sorry to hear about your experience at bartaco. We failed you miserably and I can not apologize enough, I have no excuse for the food being sub par on your visit and would love another opportunity to show you how the food should be. I would be more than happy to send you out a gift certificate... More

First time visiting and ordering is pretty simple. You fill out your order card with what you want when your ready and they put the order in. The food is shareable and small portions. The smaller portions makes it possible to try more choices. We ordered the fish, chicken and Mahi Mahi tacos, cheese quesadillas and sides. There are no... More

Arrived at 5:45 pm on a weekend and there was a one hour wait, although we called ahead. Got drinks at the bar. All good. We waited at the sidebar and waiter brought a second round, watered down. When our table was ready, the service was great. The staff was plentiful and attentive. But the tacos shells were appetizer size... More

We loved the duck, pork belly tacos. The guacamole and grilled corn were excellent as well. The pork tamale was pretty good for a restaurant, but I've had better. The service is very good and they have a great selection of tequilas and beer.

If you're looking for authentic classical Mexican this isn't your place. Bartaco serves very modern small interesting plates like porkbelly taco. Food is good- always very crowded and tight inside. Has outdoor seating too. Strong good drinks.

Great place to go with friends, but not a place to have a quiet dinner or discuss business. The noise is crazy loud, the bar is wildly overcrowded and they don't have a waiting area if you are on the waiting list. (forget waiting at the bar, it is always packed).... However, food is great, sangria is over the top... More
