So glad we found this place. Everything was fantastic, the ambiance, the music, our head waiter Raphael, but the star of the show is the food. Not one bad option in today's specials. I had a breaded stuffed pork chop that could easily feed 3, husband had the black linguine with mussels, our appetizer was a fried goat cheese salad... More

They can be a little pricy but they now have a special menu for $29 (not on Saturday!) for appetizer entree and Dessert. I would highly reconnect the chicken sopreso or the veal scallopini... They encrust it with parm cheese and it is out of this world good!!! Warning though... Don't get a pasta dish... They taste good but the... More

Stopped in for a meal before a show at the Capital Theater - pleasantly surprised. Best bread - ask for butter. Waiter verbally gave many options for meals - didn't provide a menu even when asked which was weird but explained all the options and asked for your interest/preferences to offer suggestions. Everything we had was very good. Not having... More

We had a group of seven on a Saturday night and by the time we were done were all quite happy. Excellent service, wonderful specials, tasty apps and a nice wine list. And they got us out in time for the show at the Capitol, which was not far away. So I would certainly recommend it for those needing a... More

My wife and I had dinner, and we were very happy. The location is not ideal for a restaurant, and the decor is simple and perhaps a bit tired, but the service and food was outstanding. We shared a Caesar salad, which was fresh and crunchy with terrific dressing. My wife had the signature white truffle pasta ($29) and I... More

We went to Il Sogno based on the reviews we read, and they were right. Lovely place. The ambiance was very nice. Not too big and not too small. We were not squeezed in and could have our own private conversation. The food was excellent -- some of us had the branzino, there was one monkfish and a pasta. The... More

Great appetizers, main courses and specials. Dont want to list all of ours but the service was high quality and the food was special. Done just a tiny bit differently than most restaurants in a way that gives their food a special flair. We relayed our compliments to the chef and the owner came over to chat with us and... More

My husband & I discovered this place over a year ago through a friend of ours. It has become one of our "go to's". It is consistently delicious every time. The owner is a great guy, always coming around to chat and talk about the food. They have a large & creative menu and also, a large special menu that... More

Il Sogno is on Boston Post Road in Port Chester, NY across from the Port Chester diner and probably one that you might drive right past if you were not looking for it. During the time our kitchen was being renovated, we went out to eat every night and decided to try some places we had never tried before. Il... More
