Good Homemade Pasta

Loved the tagliatelle bolognese. Nancy's salad was ample to share. We dined at 530 on a Tuesday night. Restaurant was not full so less noise. Service excellent just wished our server would have been louder. We could hardly hear him.

The food is fabulous; atmosphere beautiful without being excessively fancy and staff helpful. The pasta is divine as are the pizza, fish dishes and specials. They have a great wine list too. THey usually have a crowd so reservations are recommended.

Nice premises, first class attention and EXCELLENT food. I go to this place when I want delicious Italian food, I love pasta, I grew up eating Italian and Spanish food in Buenos Aires, so, for me la massa is something sacred. 1st commandment: no canned tomato sauce. When I asked for the pasta immediately felt the low acidity of the... More

I know it's blasphemous to knock Molto Mario, but when this restaurant first opened, it was a disaster. Overcrowded, with rude staff, made for a very unpleasant dining experience. HOWEVER, they've really learned how to run the place, and now is a better oiled machine, with a friendlier staff. The original menu seemed to cater to tourists from Ohio, something... More

We have been coming to this place for years but it is starting to get tired. They have never changed the menu and the food is just average now. The pizzas are still good but everything else seems tired. It is very noisy and could use a bit of a makeover. It still is popular which is why they may... More

As much as I want to love Tarry Lodge, it's a mixed bag. On the upside, the food is wonderful. There wasn't a plate ordered that wasn't above average. Service was great: friendly and helpful with questions on the menu (if you don't speak Italian, you'll have questions about menu and wine list). Decor is pretty. Wine list was good.... More

We stopped here on a whim for a late lunch and were delighted to receive three separate menus: brunch, lunch specials, and the regular menu. We've eaten here before but only ordered from the regular menu which is excellent. We ordered off the lunch menu this time and found everything delicious and well-prepared; the serving sizes were also generous. Our... More

We enjoyed the drinks and loved the food. The room our table was in was SO LOUD that we couldn't hear what our other table guests were saying.

Had a delicious family gathering lunch. Food is nicely authentic. The wine list is somewhat limited but includes very nice picks of local Italian varietals I do not recall finding elsewhere in the US. High and consistent quality are are good descriptor and I have not been disappointed once since the place opened a few years back. And once you... More

We visited recently with our 2 teenage boys and elderly parents. We had a great meal with great service. Our table was a little tight for the 6 of us but we made it work. We started with a large antipasti for the table which was great. The fava bean salad was amazing as was the tasty focaccia bread with... More
