Wonderful menu, difficult choices!

Made a reservation for dinner before a concert at the nearby Capitol Theater. As fans of both of the owner/chefs we looked forward to a great meal. We found the menu both appealing and with a nice variety, from rustic pizzas to elegant entrees. As a vegetarian, it was wonderful that I had many... read more

Nice place for lunch. Went there based on a friends recommendation. Definitely order the popular or common items your friends recommend. Tried other items, and it was so-so. Definitely can improve the quality taste of their food, but was decent.

The food and wine are only fair. My husband spilled a glass of wine and nobody came to help us. They also could have replaced the glass which they didn't. My daughter went with 8 others and they were told to leave because they were too noisey. They were all the way upstairs. They are not children. They are in... More

Tarry Lodge located in downtown Port Chester an economically challenged city that is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance. The restaurant is always busy, the wait staff is somewhat inconsistent and not always attentive but the food is great, and the menu contains creative offerings

I had heard about this restaurant by an acquaintance and decided to try it. My wife and I first visited the market and wine shop which we enjoyed very much. Having just returned from living in Italy for four years, we were anxious to find a market that sold product not normally found in grocery stores. We then went to... More

I have dined at Tarry Lodge several times with my family and am continually delighted by the amazing menu. The food is excellent, from taste to presentation to variety and I have not been disappointed. The service during this visit was not quite up to par from previous visits, as we had a waiter that was relatively new. However, that... More

Tarry Lodge reminds me of a trend that started in NYC years ago and now permeates the suburbs. Cool, hip restaurants by well known chefs who serve really good food at inflated prices and almost universally have lousy service, rude hostesses and attitude for days. Tarry Lodge has good food. I like to give credit where credit is due, but... More

Very nice atmosphere. Unique pizza's and a wide variety of great dishes. Great for special occasions.

We arrived early for an 8:00 reservation and were seated right away by a somewhat lackadaisical hostess staff. Not thrilled with the table directly behind the hostess stand. Lots of traffic and rather uncomfortably cold with the door opening and closing. Bathroom was dirty. After waiting some time with no staff taking notice we flagged down what looked to be... More

We had a reservation for 4:30 for two expecting a nice quiet dinner. We were seated at the worst table in the restaurant. Between the server station and the entrance to the other dining room. There was only 1 other table in the dining room. The waitress dumped water into our glasses getting some on the table and my menu.... More
