Fine Italian food in a classic setting

Once a neighborhood pizza joint, the interior of the restaurant has been restored to its former glory with fine Italian offerings to match Large bar, generous servings of excellent Italian food and an excellent waitstaff combines for a first rate dining experience

At the beginning the place looks nice. I went to meet a couple of friends for a birthday party so we've decided to go there. They were there before me so when I came we stared to order and we brought a birthday cake to eat at the end. We ordered and the food came and we ordered a couple... More

My husband and I recently had dinner here to celebrate his birthday. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. The room we sat in was quiet but the adjoining bar area was rather noisy.

We went for dinner with a group. The round table was nice for conversation. The food was all quite good. Everyone was happy with their meals. The service was good. A nice meeting spot for people in Westchester to meet friends/family from the Bronx or LI.

Brought family from New Haven- Forget Frank Peppe's this clam pizza is the best starting with that as appetizer on to parpardelle as good as any restaurant in Italy on to fish, chicken and dessert all excellent In my opinion this is the best Italian food in westchester and you don't need a second mortgage to pay for it

We've been here several times over the years, but not at all in the last 12 months. Huge disappointment. The menu has become more pedestrian, the service much slower, and the execution of the dishes was quite sloppy. There used to be a wonderful pasta with black squid ink linguini, rock shrimp, chills, etc. Last night it had devolved into... More

Been to Tarry Lodge many times n this place never disappoints! Pizza guacinale (mushrooms-truffle) will hv you going back again n again just to taste the other pizzas! Expertly thin crusts, perfect sauce n never too cheesy. Yummm!

When you walk in it has the feel of an old American home but the food is pure Italian. The menu is broad and includes pizzas so it will appeal to young and old alike. I always test an Italian restaurant by their gnocchi and sauce and this was amazing. Through in great service and you will have a wonderful... More

First things first, the Tarry Lodge has some of the most delicious food you'll ever eat. I mean, it's that good. The fish, the steak, the odd styles of pizza (amazingly good), the incredible antipasto. Secondly, they stuff WAY too many people into this oddly shaped/designed building. I know you create a business to make money. That's the American way.... More

This is a local favorite (I have family over the state line in Greenwich) and we come here at least several times a year. I've never had a bad meal, but I also hold this Bastianich/Batali restaurant to high standards, so I was a little disappointed this past weekend. I understand it was a busy saturday on a pre-holiday weekend,... More
