Call the police! At these prices, for the service, quality and quantity of the food served someone should be arrested! What a rip off! Never again.

Whether you are looking for a fine dining experience or a pizza to share, Tarry Lodge has them both. The food is exceptional and the service is almost as good. I have taken out of town guests for a special dinner and we were more than happy with our experience. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. The pizza with... More

Delicious stuff, beautiful atmosphere and top dollar prices. The staff is friendly and helpful, if you want to treat yourself to a delicious tidbit...bring your wallet or your sugar daddy.

Tarry Lodge has sort of established itself as Port Chester's top restaurant. And, no question about it, it is very good. But it is quite expensive, and with so many good Italian restaurants in town, I'm not sure it fully warrants its exalted position. It's not as though I can point to any specific faults--I just have often walked out... More

I get that Tarry Lodge isn't new anymore but we've never been. We were relying on old hype when we decided to have our first post-baby date here. It was a mistake. Service was, at best, indifferent. We had to prompt the server for specials and he had difficulty answering questions about the menu. He only bothered to let us... More

Three of us went for lunch on Monday. I had a salad, pasta and a glass of wine for $25. Very good food at a great price. I will be back the next time I am in the area.

I love the Tarry Lodge but it has lost some of its sparkle. Food changes are not all consistently better - some old standbys are definitely worse (add the goat cheese back into the Crazy B@stard!). Also pricing has gotten out of whack on some things. You used to be able to get a glass of wine by the glass... More

I've eaten here a number of times and it is always fine. Never better - seldom worse. The service is uniformly scattered and it can be next to impossible to get a check when it gets busy - which can be stressful if you are trying to get to a movie or a concert. The food is generally pretty good,... More

My family and I have been several times when we've visited NY. We always enjoy it, but we always especially enjoy the Pizza with an egg over easy and truffles on top and the various homemade pasta dishes. In fact, each time I've eaten there, I walk away wishing I had skipped the main entree and just stuck to the... More

We made a reservation for dinner with a couple of friends on Saturday night. We got there early and were told we could be seated right away or wait at the bar. We choose to wait at the bar but when we went there all the places are set for meal service so I was uncomfortable just sitting having a... More
