Excellent, as always

Had a delicious family gathering lunch. Food is nicely authentic. The wine list is somewhat limited but includes very nice picks of local Italian varietals I do not recall finding elsewhere in the US. High and consistent quality are are good descriptor and I have not been disappointed once since... read more

As much as I want to love Tarry Lodge, it's a mixed bag. On the upside, the food is wonderful. There wasn't a plate ordered that wasn't above average. Service was great: friendly and helpful with questions on the menu (if you don't speak Italian, you'll have questions about menu and wine list). Decor is pretty. Wine list was good.... More

We stopped here on a whim for a late lunch and were delighted to receive three separate menus: brunch, lunch specials, and the regular menu. We've eaten here before but only ordered from the regular menu which is excellent. We ordered off the lunch menu this time and found everything delicious and well-prepared; the serving sizes were also generous. Our... More

We enjoyed the drinks and loved the food. The room our table was in was SO LOUD that we couldn't hear what our other table guests were saying.

We visited recently with our 2 teenage boys and elderly parents. We had a great meal with great service. Our table was a little tight for the 6 of us but we made it work. We started with a large antipasti for the table which was great. The fava bean salad was amazing as was the tasty focaccia bread with... More

I always thought this place was overrated, but it's actually totally worth the price/ crowd. Delicious, just pricy! Truffle pizza was AMAZING! Highly recommend.

We were excited to try this restaurant as we are currently househunting in the area. We enjoyed the pizza with goat cheese and honey truffle but the pizza with mushrooms had a burnt crust and so much cheese that we could not taste the mushrooms. That being said, we had a nice wine and the salads were good although not... More

Took my family for en early dinner on a sunny day. The fresh pea ravioli and brasto al barolo were stand-outs, as was the chocolate cheesecake and apple crostini desserts. Pizzas cooked to perfection in the wood oven. Wines are quite pricey but there are a few finds by the bottle (not sure I would spend $20+ on their 3oz... More

If you know anything about food, you've heard of Mario Batali. Well, the food here lives up to every expectation. However, the service was really slow. It was at least 25 minutes between courses.

We have eaten here twice with groups of friends. The service is exceptional. We are always well taken care of by an attentive group of servers. The food is delicious and creative. The Pumpkin Ravioli is not to be missed. They also do something with beets that makes them wonderful, and I don't even like beets! Make a reservation, plan... More
