Often go here when w/ my mother-in-law. She is an old school Italian woman. Because of her, when I dine Italian, I almost never order red sauce (gravy) because, let's face it, when you get the BEST at home, how can ANY restaurant compare?? Anyway, there are times when she just didn't want to cook, or we stopped by unexpectedly... More

Its a small and busy neighborhood Italian restaurant. I brought my fire department from Old Greenwich over for a holiday dinner. Everyone ordered something different. All 24 entrees came out hot and at the same time. All orders were correct. The dishes were hugh as always and ranges ftom lamb iseo bucco, to veal parm, hot chicjen Scarpiello, steak salad,... More

Ask for Cindy if you can. The best veal parm you ever had! Many custom dishes. Great Scarpiello,.Osso Bucco, shrimp and mussels outstanding. Seafood salad the best around. We are here once a week. Never ever disappointed.

My father in-law swears by this place, so maybe it's just me, but F&L's has pretty average Italian food. I wasn't disappointed with the food at all, but I wasn't raving either. It's also kind of pricey. The restaurant is a little small, and the service was just okay.

The ambience is not great. it used to be a house, I understand and the family that lives in that house runs this restaurant. It does not look like a typical restaurant. It is very cosy and inevitably crowded as this seems very popular with the locals. Parking can be a problem - street parking. The food is great. There... More

When we ask my mom who is an older woman where we should go for her birthday this is where she picks. I find it funny because it reminds me of the food she makes. She loves close by but it's worth the trip to come and eat here. All you favorites are on the menu

I have eaten here many times. There is a small dining room adjacent to the pizza counter. There is nothing especially enticing about the ambience. The service is often surprisingly slow. However, the food is extremely good. There is no shortage of Italian restaurants in Port Chester, and this is my favorite for simple Southern-Italian food. Portions are very generous,... More

Had a lovely dinner here recently and I had heard about this place ages ago and was so looking forward to it. I was not disappointed! Great hot italian bread to begin, bruschetta, and all before we even ordered. Must be careful not to overdo it on the bread.. I had chicken parmigian with mashed potatos and mushroom gravy. It... We were staying at Courtyard by Marriott in nearby Rye and this restaurant was on their list of local establishments. We found it to be a great little local neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food was very good and you could tell they have a loyal following as the place was packed. Don't go looking for a large fancy place -... More
