I stopped at Nessa's recently - they have introduced live music to their 5 - 7 evening Nibble time, at least on Tuesdays. A talented young keyboardist, Simon Riker added an engaging mix of American Songbook Classics, jazz and a few classical pieces which turned a couple of cocktails into an exploration of the special Nessa Nibbles sampler list and... Stopped in on Sunday at 5:15 for some appetizers and some wine. Nice wine selection and the appetizers were very good. Fried polenta cooked well, meatballs (big)in sauce, and mussels in broth were our choices. Each was $8 apiece and we did not eat dinner that night since that was plenty of food. We would definitely go back and we... More

Nessa has a great Sunday brunch menu - not extensive but what they have is great - don't miss the french toast . And the mimosas and bloody mary's are $5! On Mondays, you can BYOB, which saves $$! The bruchetta is really good (but not each order is only 1 piece!). The meals themselves are OK, but the best... More

I'm all about the quaint, trendy, Manhattan-ish style restaurants. This one fits the bill! Portchester is known for some great eating, and Nessa delivers. It's romantic and yet perfect for an intimate gathering with friends as well, dimly lit, candles, relaxing ambiance from the time you enter. The food is amazing. I love the rigatoni bolanese ...yummmm. The Brussel sprouts... More

We were a group of 8 after a long day of work, who were able to sit relax, sample many different dishes, and thoroughly enjoy the signature basil orange martini. We shared tastings of each others dishes and found one delightful mouthful after another. The brushetta I would return for again and and again. One of the group tasted foods... More

We came to this restaurant by accident (had reservation somewhere else but thought it was Nessa) and we decided to stay. We were not disappointed then or ever since (countless visits). The atmosphere is really nice - cozy, yet not too noisy to talk, wait staff there when you need them but not overbearing (to me the best worker is... More

My wife and I didn't care for this restaurant. The narrow layout, poor service, and uninspired food made for a not-so-good dining experience, We noticed many of our divorced friends and acquaintances there. Perhaps they had more of a reason to eat there than the food.

We were 2 couples. Cocktails were excellent. It helps that the drink specialty of the day is my preferred cocktail. We shared several apps including crab cakes, 3 different and very unique bruschettas and the beef carpaccio. Then my husband had the linguini vongole with more clams than ever expected. The ladies split the Zuppe de mar and also had... More

So, the food is good, maybe even better than good in certain cases, but like several other restaurants in the area, they think they're in Manhattan, when this is Port Chester. If they could drop the trying to be dark and cool and just celebrate the food, it might be more enjoyable. Pastas and bruschetta were good. Octopus appetizer was... More

Recently moved to the area and tried Nessa. Had a nice table outside, ready to enjoy a casual meal and wine with my lady. Then the rudest waiter I have experienced in a very long time ruined our night. Everything we inquired about, like "any special dishes it is our first time here, or do you have a Malbec, or... More
