Farm fresh and delicious

This place is fabulous. Excellent food, one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Everything is farm fresh, and the veggies are grown right there. It's expensive but worth it!

The place is a nice, quiet romantic environment, in a very warm contest. A good place easy to get to from NYC for a dinner-date or to enjoy a nice night. We had dinner here on a Friday night. Didn't have a reservation, but we have been seated at the bar after a 30-min wait (understandable). We decided to try... More

We had such a great time. I felt like we were back in Northern Ca. where a typical weekend evening may very easily include: a gorgeous 1 hour drive up the coast, some sweet faced farm animals to pet, delightfully crisp clean smelling air, and a relaxing walk through the French impressionist-like landscape of garden veggies, flowers and trees just... I was almost finished reading The Third Plate by chef Dan Barber when I dined at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. I highly recommend both the book and the restaurant. I can't begin to describe the succession of delicious courses that arrived at our table. Standouts included the liver pate with chocolate. Doesn't that sound incongruous? But it was amazing... More

Dan Barber is much more than a chef, and the experience at Blue Hill farm is much more than a meal. No need for superlatives here or clever adjectives to describe the elaborate journey you embark on shortly after sitting in the sober and beautiful dining room. The perfectly-timed ballet of courses (22 in total) effortlessly takes you where very... More

I ordered gift cards for a client of mine on June 5th and it is now June 16th and he has not received them yet. He lives in NY City. How long can it take to send a gift card. The company says 5-8 days. It's been 11. When you call you are on hold for 25 minutes--and this is... More

4 hour tasting type menu just fly by in a most pleasant way. every plate presented in a very appealing way and nothing I wouldn't have asked for seconds, even pairings that at first you might have passed on proved the point of trying out new taste experiences fabulous fine dinning for a shared experience with friends or family with... You go to Blue Hill at Stone Barns to eat a meal, but to call it a restaurant would, quite honestly, be an insult. My wife and I have dined here before, and returned to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. The service is impeccable - personable, professional, and somehow never crossing the fine line between the two. The setting is breathtaking.... More

We have eaten in some very nice restaurants and had great food. Nothing compares to the inventive cuisine at Blue Hill. I could go into details but others have described the food well. Everything was delicious and the trip back to the kitchen memorable! The two big points - food amazing but Price amazing. We had the wine pairings with... More
