We attended a wedding at this venue'. It was just beautiful. The cocktail hour was a little long and had very limited seating, it was in the vegetable garden, so, as it got dark you had to be very careful not to trip over the raised beds. Otherwise it was awesome! The actual room for the reception was gorgeous and... More

The restaurant is very pretty and the service is top notch all around. The wine list is extensive although I didn't love the wine that was recommended to us based on the criteria I gave them. The food is good and plentiful. You won't leave hungry but you won't love everything put in front of you. The bread was some... More

After waiting over a year and checking open table constantly for an opening not at 9:30pm, we finally got a reservation. I suppose we missed the whole farm experience since it was a freezing cold January evening. We were told to come early which I do not understand as the restaurant was not packed. We sat in the lounge which... More

From the moment you walk in the door you know this is going to be exceptional. Such professional, helpful, knowledgeable, choreographed staff. We had toured the farm first and as a vegetarian I was skeptical about the possibility of ethical farming of animals. But this farm cares. The same care can be seen in the food - its conception, sourcing,... More

Each visit to Blue Hill at Stone Barns exceeds my expectations. Every course presented is this educational tasting experience where you learn where all your food came from and how it was prepared. The knowledge of the entire staff is simply incredible. They are so highly informed you can just feel how much they care and believe in what they... More

Wonderful locally sourced and perfectly prepared food in a magnificent setting. Much of the food is grown on the premises. Get there early enough to walk around but definitely get there.

My wife and I are foodies and this place offered perhaps the best culinary experience we ever had. Everything was great, well presented and the ambience was lovely. We live in nyc and have been to finest restaurants Manhattan has to offer. We drove out here after trying blue hill in Manhattan which we enjoyed. This place eclipses all we... More

A very tasty and rare culinary experience. The service and the presentation and taste of most of the food are excellent. The reservation process leaves much to be desired and is very frustrating and time consuming, to put it mildly.

Excellent presentation. All the plates were like artwork and tasted heavenly - and the drink menu was a perfect fit. The visit in the kitchen topped the experience. A head's up to those of you who are expecting big plates and lots of meat or fish. You will not get it. This is a tasting menu and mainly consist of... More
