I was quite surprised when visiting a friend in Plattsburgh last spring. Quality food at affordable prices. The place is tiny, but has good food and good margaritas. I have eaten Mexican food all over northern Mexico and the US southern border. Don't miss out if you want Mexican while you are in Plattsburgh.

I really enjoyed the food. I did not know there was a Mexican restaurant in plattsburgh. Normally I have to travel to Potsdam for decent Mexican. From what I understand that it has new owners and it is run by someone who used to work there. There is some seating outside if you prefer. I sat inside. They also serve... More

Heard so much buzz about this resturant and decided to try. Burritos were full of beans and rice...very little meat or flavor. Enchiladas were also very tasteless and again more beans! We had the chesse dip foundos (not sure of correct spelling) one with shrimp one without. Very watery and reminded me of velveta chesse melted. Very disappointing food! Charged... More

We were a little disappointed that they are now charging $5 for a second round of chips and salsa! It's not even a generous amount either. They have a new menu also. The new menu has mostly the same items though.

Had the poblano rellano. You should get it too. It was by far the best I've ever had. Margarita's are great. Great atmosphere.

My wife and I come here quite a bit! She always orders the Carnitas and I order the cheese and asparagus enchilada. Old habits are hard to break. We have ordered tacos before and liked them. We'll order nachos too if we're really hungry. My son orders the Burrito when he comes with us. It's huge, so you better be... More

We visit the Pepper after a long day at Plattsburgh beach. The restaurant is small and very crowded. There was a waiting of 45 minutes for seating outside. So we decide to go inside. For the drink, we try the Mimosa and Sangria. Very good and not expensive (3$ each, it was on special). Chips and salsa were served at... More

Hard to believe such great food about as far away from Mexico as you can get. Great meal and service. Highly recommend.

We paid 27.00 for two meals take-out. Way overpriced. The rice and beans tasted microwaved and/or boxed. My chimichanga had large peppers of every kind and not much else in it. The beans were very runny, and practically sliding outta the box. The. Meals were very expensive and poor for taste, I will not go back or recommend it.
