If a very formal night is for you, then this is it. The need for so elegant is in order as for us all, the place is a dream. Price reflects extra effort. Not for me everytime but has a place that won't dissapoint.upscale us the word.

Four of us ate at Anthony's for the first time. The meal was excellent, well-presented by a knowledgeable waitress who also knew the wine list. Her white suggestion was just right and when the last bottle of a red proved to be corked, she brought samples of three possible wines to choose from. The latte ordered by one was not... More

This is a favorite restaurant for my wife and I. We've been coming here for years. We love the fish specials especially. My wife doesn't even like fish, but she has it here and loves it! We also love the coffee and the desserts. Make sure to ask about the homemade ice cream. Sometimes we'll come here for a few... More

I have eaten at Anthony's several times and semi-frequently the bar and bistro. I used to think it was clearly the best in the area. My experience this week left me wanting. Three (3) menu items we ordered they did not have. The were very polite, but they did not have them. I ordered a special venison chop. It had... More

This is our second visit to Plattsburgh. We've heard of Anthony's but didn't try it last time. What can I say....the food is excellent albeit pricey. Fresh & local seem to be the keywords for this place. House smoked salmon, homemade sausage -- need I say more??

Every time I dine here I struggle with what to choose for an appetizer, since there are several that are drop dead delicious. Namely the the Lobster bisque and the grilled squid.

Always new and interesting chef specialties. Truly the finest dining Plattsburgh has to offer! Dine in elegance or more casually in the bistor, either way the food is great and the service outstanding!

Used to dine at Anthony's weekly as it was consistently excellent, albeit pricey but worth it. Moved from the area for about 10 years and returned last year. Ate at Anthony's expecting the usual excellent fare, but was seriously disappointed at the quality. The entire meal was sub par and ranged from overcooked meat to tasteless sauces. It was the... We ate there in March 2014, for dinner, in the bistro section. I had the seafood special that evening and it was very good. Anthony's is pricier than most restaurants in Plattsburgh. The Bistro section is less expensive than the main restaurant. The two of us with no deserts and only soft drinks was about $76, which I don't think... More
