A&W on Steroids!

This place was fantastic. It reminded me a lot of what A&W offers but more well done. The Michigan Dog is a must have when visiting this location. The staff isn't super friendly but the food makes up for it.

We go by this place quite often, and they advertise their Michigan's heavily. Never had a Michigan, so it was time to try them. Ordered a platter with two Michigans, and the wife had the same with just one. Platter included two sides. We both chose the fries and coleslaw. They were good steamed franks with a chili type sauce... More

Today we stumbled upon this great establishment in plattsburgh. I've had Michigan's before but my colleague had not so the lovely waitress recommended a platter for us. Good choice! The food was good and the place was great. If I lived near by this would be my go to spot. Good times were had by all!

Breakfast is breakfast, right? I ordered what I always order in any restaurant, but the eggs at Gus' were cooked perfectly. Yolk to my satisfaction, not fried in oil. Toast was crispy outside, chewy inside. Service was friendly, prices very reasonable, but my biggest compliment was to the chef.

Had breakfast here 2 times in one week. Food comes out almost as soon as you order. Very good food. Wait staff is accomodating. Prices are reasonable. It is relatively convenient to get in and out but it can be a busy intersection. If you're using the Champlain ferry from Cumberland Head to Hero give yourself an extra half hour... More

My first time there, had heard about it from friends and advertising, very enjoyable meal. Fast and very friendly service, many choices on the menu, choice of seating (stools, booths, tables). Food came pretty much as ordered (burger was a tad overcooked, had asked for medium), portions were good to large, prices reasonable. Star of the show was the hot... More

Thought we'd give it a try due to the reviews and seeing its supposed to be a local spot. Spouse's ham & eggs would be rated as fair for taste and Overpriced for what she got. My western sandwich was not only greasy (tasted more like margarine) than butter but the clincher was that the green peppers in it had... More

I prefer breakfast at Gus's in Plattsburgh to several other diners that I have tried in St. Albans. We had eggs , sausage (for me) , bacon for my wife , & home fries. All was good, service was speedy, & coffee was refilled several times. Price was reasonable, but not cheap. I recommend this diner for breakfast & would... More

Best omelette in Plattsburgh. I've tried western and ham and cheese. Every time it has been awesome. It is made with real eggs and the right amount of cheese! Not the cheapest breakfast in town, but you get what you pay for and Gus' only serves quality ingredients. I've always had great service too!
