Good diner style food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. If that's the type of place you're looking for, you won't be disappointed.

Four of us stopped here for breakfast before catching the ferry to Vermont. It's obviously a long-standing business in Plattsburgh. We all had good, filling breakfasts for about $10/head including tip. The waitress was very friendly and seemed to have been a long-time employee. The food was not exceptional but it was at least as good as an IHOP, Perkins... More

We usually stop here if we are at breakfast time for traditional bacon and eggs. Great very crisp bacon! Nice people and with traditional diner food.

I live on the road, so a good meal is very important. Gus' was a great meal at a reasonalble price. Plenty of food, great service, in a good atmosphere. I had breakfast here while staying for a week. The food was hot and plentiful. Everything the traveler needs.

Good Michigan, better than McSweeney's. Waitress was great! But the prices were outrageous! Burger was good! Fried pickles were yummy!

OMG, this was an absolutely miserable meal. My signif. other ordered the half rack of ribs that were apparently microwaved . . . partially. Below the surface, the ribs were cold. In addition, the ribs were so dry and tough, only two ribs were edible. I ordered the special of the day, pulled pork sandwich. I ordered it without the... More

I hadn't been to Gus's in YEARS so I brought the family back and it did not disappoint! Everyone was satisfied. Their Michigan Platters are the way to go, something for everyone!

Stopped by Gus's on the way to Montreal this past week. Very disorganized at the counter. Seemed to be understaffed and the dining area wasn't half full either. Cooks seem bored to tears, standing there waiting for orders and looking like they lost their best friend or something. Food was just okay. I had a turkey club that was dry... More

The Michagans here (red hots) are the standard to measure others by. It's just a diner, but with great history and an excellent food value you should go at least once.
