Thought we'd give it a try due to the reviews and seeing its supposed to be a local spot. Spouse's ham & eggs would be rated as fair for taste and Overpriced for what she got. My western sandwich was not only greasy (tasted more like margarine) than butter but the clincher was that the green peppers in it had... More

I prefer breakfast at Gus's in Plattsburgh to several other diners that I have tried in St. Albans. We had eggs , sausage (for me) , bacon for my wife , & home fries. All was good, service was speedy, & coffee was refilled several times. Price was reasonable, but not cheap. I recommend this diner for breakfast & would... More

Best omelette in Plattsburgh. I've tried western and ham and cheese. Every time it has been awesome. It is made with real eggs and the right amount of cheese! Not the cheapest breakfast in town, but you get what you pay for and Gus' only serves quality ingredients. I've always had great service too!

My wife and I stopped in by way of recommendation from people in 'the North Country'. Our service was quick and we enjoyed our sandwiches and the fries are very good. It is a nice, comfortable diner atmosphere with well prepared and tasty food. Will stop in again and try the Michigan Dogs next time.

My sister in law Barbara Brown Trautman and I go to Plattsburg and we always get michigans...it is the one thing we miss. We have tried them all...and this year like Gus's Best part is Barbara used to babysit for the original owner's children...

My husband brought me to this place because I had to try a Michigan Dog. I will admit they were very good, and the French fries were awesome! It is a very friendly little place that resembles a diner inside. There is a quite a large menu.

Good diner style food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. If that's the type of place you're looking for, you won't be disappointed.

Four of us stopped here for breakfast before catching the ferry to Vermont. It's obviously a long-standing business in Plattsburgh. We all had good, filling breakfasts for about $10/head including tip. The waitress was very friendly and seemed to have been a long-time employee. The food was not exceptional but it was at least as good as an IHOP, Perkins... More
