we have come here before, several years ago. but, on another visit to town, were told we HAD to try the "Michigans"! we both had those, and they were VERY tasty! also, I have been wanting to try "poutine" (the fries with gravy and cheese), the rather local French Canadian inspired fare? it is not on the menu as poutine,... Their michigans are spicy but very good. You can choose regular fries or hand cut fries, among many other selections.

We stopped in to grab some lunch. The staff was very nice. Hot dog was good. Not as good as Gus'. Burger was ok. Homemade fries are just ok. I ordered a side salad that was 5 dollars! It had iceberg lettuce and radishes, yuck. Overall we thought our food was just ok.

Nice place overall with great service, real clean, nice staff, good variety on menu for a quick stop or eat inside or enjoy car hop service. I like it better than any other car hop place. Remodeled place that also has outdoor seating

There are two places to get the best Michigans in the North Country. McSweeney's is one of the two. My best friend swears by McSweeney's. I think it is closer to a tie between McS and C&C. McSweeney's has three locations. One on Rt 9 south of the former air base and in the former Niitzi's just down the road... More

If you are rolling through the area (not sure why you would be haha, not too much to see) but you MUST STOP HERE! The michigans are the best in town and the service is quick and friendly. And plus, the owner, Mike is always around and checking on you to make sure your food is good. I love it.... More

When you are in the North Country, you have to sample the area's greatest culinary contribution - the Michigan Red Hot. As long as you're going to do that, you should sample the best, McSweeney's! Their Michigan sauce is to die for and they have homemade fries....worth your stop!

I am not from the area but was told I needed to try a "Michigan" or "red hot" so I decided to go to Mc Sweeney's. I was impressed and hooked, I use to go there pretty much every weekend after a long night out. The service is fast and friendly.

If you're from northern New York or New England, you'll love this place. The hot dogs are the ones with bright red artificial coloring on the outside; hence the name "red hots". Personally, I find them appalling. My wife, who hails from this area, loves them. You'll love this place if you like airy, fun, summery places with fun, summery... More

Good michigans and fries = happy customers. For the adventure seeker, I recommend the sweet potato fries. Delicious!
