My husband and I were looking for a place to have dinner downtown Plattsburgh and chose Sawatdee because we both love Thai. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent taste, flavor and the spiciness of our dishes. I had the Tom Kha soup and I could have had a bucket of it, it was delicious. The Tom Yum was excellent... Wow, if I go to one more place based on Trip Advisor reviews....... I expected amazing. What I got got average or actually, just below. Service is fine, nice, smiling folks, but the food was overpriced and flavorless. The portions are NOT huge at all. We ordered a mix appetizer plate and it was ridiculously small- 2 tiny, dried-up, paper-thin... More

The food at Sawatdee is so flavorful and different from any other restaurant in town! The portions are generous and the prices are so very reasonable. The owners are lovely, hard-working people, too! My favorites are the Pad Thai, the Stir Fry Veggies, or the giant bowl of soup for lunch!

Was visiting Plattsburgh and my boyfriend recommended Sawatdee, as a lover of Thai food I immediately said yes! We were seated immediately at about 1pm on a Friday afternoon. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. The wonton soup was good, dim sum was tasty and the chicken satays were worth the price, the peanut sauce was outstanding. The... More

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant regularly. The curries are excellent with vegetables that are never over cooked. They also make an really good spicy salad with chicken. The portions are generous. The staff is friendly and service is prompt and polite. The prices are very good. Two can eat with a drink each for under... More

I had the Pad Kee Mao--which was flat noodles, veggies, tofu, basil, garlic and a spicy red Thai sauce. It had enough heat to satisfy the craving but not too much to ruin the meal. I paired it with a tofu lemongrass soup, and a spring roll. The soup was phenomenal but the roll was older than I would have... More

After reading the great reviews online, we decided to give this place a try. It's located in downtown Plattsburgh, so street parking can be limited at times. The decor of the restaurant could use a little TLC ... old, dingy carpets, tired artwork and houseplants and cheap wooden tables decorated the restaurant. However, everything was tidy and clean. The staff... More

I go to Plattsburgh all the time and never knew about this place until a friend told me. Now my boyfriend and I go there all the time. I love the food. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Apps and main courses that we've tried have been delicious!! Any time that we've gone it hasn't been crowded, we are in... More
