A three-month renovation has expanded the original restaurant layout to create a new open floor plan that seamlessly transitions the restaurant from day to night. Erie Grill makes a statement with modern decor. Following lunch, the restaurant transitions itself into a lounge-like dining and drinking atmosphere by revealing liquor selections behind the bar, showcasing a vast wine selection, and softening lighting for the evening hours. The menu offers a variety of crave-able Contemporary American cuisine that encompasses both coursed meals and smaller plates to share at a range of price points. Executive Chef John Freezee and Sous Chef Doug Dake imaginatively utilize seasonal ingredients to present the finest in regional cuisine; popular dishes include Steak Tartare Pizza, Duck Meatballs, and Rabbit Sausage with Orecchiette.

The best waitress!

Went to eat after our massages, and had a great view of the canal. The food was good, but the waitress was amazing. She heard us wish our friend a happy birthday, and at the end of our meal, she appeared with a birthday parfait! She was attentive without being invasive, when she heard our soup was... read more

Only had breakfast here, and it was very elegant, great choices, good coffee. Eggs benedict was super. Pancakes were cooked perfectly. Pricey, but a nice treat while staying at the hotel. Bar closes very early. Was closed before 11p on a Saturday night. Nice bar though, classy, good place to start before dinner and evening out.

We were so happy to finally visit. We always thought it was just a regular hotel restaurant and bar, but it is way more. We visited for happy hour which is 7 days a week! We have been here twice now in one week. The drink specials and beer are a terrific price as well as the snacks and food... More

First and foremost - loved my waitress! Sweet girl! I had the Cioppino - in a white wine sauce - different and yum. But the best part of the meal was Chi-tini desert cocktail - to die for! Oh - and the chocolate cake was a class second!🍸🍰

What an amazing surprise, a hotel restaurant that is super impressive. Staff are very attentive, and the food/drinks really great. Fun, vibrant Happy Hour from 4-7 every day of the week.

Went to The Erie Grill on a Sat. night. Sat down on time and had a table near the bar. Not many people there but the noise level was off the chart. We asked to be moved because of the noise and we were told that many people complained about the noise in the past but she could not move... More

Meh. Completely unoriginal. American food done well is something to behold. This was just completely lacking in... everything. Oh, the cioppino was not cioppino. No tomato, no broth, and not a hint of spice.

Menu offers a good selection. Portion sizes generous. Service good. A pleasant place to brunch with family & friends. Good value, not expensive but not "budget".

In the Del Monte Lodge, one of the Rochester area's higher end hotels, it fits what one would expect of a restaurant in such a hotel. The atmosphere is attractive, rather bland, professionally decorated. It gets quite noisy. We were there early on a Monday evening and by the time we finished, we were raising our voices in order to... More
