Description: A three-month renovation has expanded the original restaurant layout to create a new open floor plan that seamlessly transitions the restaurant from day to night. Erie Grill makes a statement with modern decor. Following lunch, the restaurant transitions itself into a lounge-like dining and drinking atmosphere by revealing liquor selections behind the bar, showcasing a vast wine selection, and softening lighting for the evening hours. The menu offers a variety of crave-able Contemporary American cuisine that encompasses both coursed meals and smaller plates to share at a range of price points. Executive Chef John Freezee and Sous Chef Doug Dake imaginatively utilize seasonal ingredients to present the finest in regional cuisine; popular dishes include Steak Tartare Pizza, Duck Meatballs, and Rabbit Sausage with Orecchiette.

Even though I am a "local", this was my first visit to Erie Grill since their "re-do". I was pleasantly surprised. Although our visit was on a quiet Saturday, my request for a table with privacy was respected, and service was attentively non-intrusive. The food was not exciting, but certainly solidly good. I would return again whenever a professional meeting... More

We ate at the Erie Grill with two other couples for a birthday celebration. Even with a reservation we waited for our table for about 1/2 hour, which was surprising. The atmosphere was nice and the food was excellent though, and we had a very enjoyable evening. Would I return? Sure. But all things equal, I'd prefer Richardson's Canal House... More

Very good food for a hotel. My wife and I stopped here for a fast brunch. Excellent burger, sweet potato fries, salads and cappuccino. Great service and food. Wish to return for their Cioppino in a white sauce, sounds great! I'm glad my back was to the window. I don't enjoy looking at the Barge Canal even if you change... More

Erie Grill had an exceptionally lovely decor, friendly staff and the best wings and sweet potato fries we have had anywhere. The best part, though, was the outstanding view of the canal. It is a very active area for locals with a walking/biking path. Several different types of boats floated down the canal and a train even crossed the bridge.... More

Have been going here for breakfast and lunch for many years and have always had very good food and attentive service. Outside the windows you can watch the Erie Canal slowly pass by with all of the runners, bikers and strollers. The interior decor is nothing special but it's a very pleasant spot for a meal while staying at the... More

Rode the motorcycles to the spa for my significant other. Decided to wait and grab a bite. Sat there for twenty minutes and no service. Other patrons arrived and got seated and order taken. Maybe because I had jeans and boots on since I was on my bike. Will not give this place another try. Went to Starbucks and got... More

The restaurant is part of the Delmonte Lodge and is nestled in the village of Pittsford on the Erie Canal. The dinning area has a simple and modern decor and the limited seating gives it an intimate feel. While we did not feel crowded, I would recommend reservations for dinner, especially on the weekends. There are three types of tables,... More

This was my 1st time at this restaurant, despite it being located in my neighborhood. I went on a recommendation of a friend. The scenery was great as it is located on the canal. It's a modern restaurant with good food and great service. I had steak which had great flavor and my friends had the meatloaf which they bragged... More

We have eating at Erie Grill a few times over the past few months. This included lunch and dinner - each experience was wonderful. The restaurant is relatively small but very well appointed with a large well stocked, creative bar and bar staff. The choices for lunch are wonderful - creative yet moderately priced and delicious. The fish specials on... More

I had breakfast 3 out of 4 days and dinner 2 out of 4 days during my recent stay. The food was always excellent. I had rack of lamb and veal chop for dinner. Both were juicy and delicious. The breakfast were great; i have benedict, blue-berry pancakes, and corn beef hash. All were highly recommended.
