I've been here before, and after Sandy, and the quality of the food and staff has exponentially improved. The quality of the meal was awesome, and the staff was attentive but not overbearing. I had a special for the evening, which was fettuccine with shrimp in a lobster sauce. My boyfriend had the chilled Maine lobster salad. Both were delicious... More

Went to the Light House for a friend's birthday due to the beautiful view!!! Was aware of the inconsistencies with service and food preparation, but we decided to give it a chance! The view was absolutely stunning on this beautiful day but the place was empty!! I don't know about you, but when I go to a restaurant and there... More

The view - the only thing they can not control, is the only reason I'd return. Service ranges from none, to 3-at-a-time....and that's not a compliment, because when it's 3-at-a-time, there is confusion and orders are wrong. Drinks are in plastic unless they are wine or martini. I give the food "edible"........ actually, not all of it; the grated cheese... More

- no host/ess & were told to sit ourselves. - waitress was sweet & informative. She explained that "there is a new Chef" and "a limited menu" available so the kitchen "practice the dishes". Some places call this time friends & family or a soft opening in which case, the meals are free. - mojito - fresh mint was used,... More

Opening weekend and the service was beyond slow, over an hour to get our food after we ordered. You are paying for the view which was accented by the annoying little flying bugs that could have been tastier than our meal. Asked for my steak medium ream and got it medium leather tasting.

We went for an early dinner on a Sunday. The weather was perfect for sitting and looking out on the water.Great view but..... We were not seated but told to sit anywhere and we had to ask for menus. After ordering, we got the salads very fast..but then we waited for our main course. We asked the waitress who told... More

Food edible, views great. Service horrible, manager rude. We gave it a second chance and got exactly the same. It was the dead of summer and they had one waiter for 12 busy tables. All the good reviews seem to be about the bar.

I have been told that the Lighthouse is great for drinks and not much else. I should have listened. First the staff was extremely disorganized. Food comes out and no one knows who ordered what and which table it belongs to. The calamari was ok, nothing special but edible. The clams on the half shell were terrible. They were still... More
