The owner is so funny. I want to see her again which is why I always come back. Also the sushi rolls are so delicious.

Ate a fabulous dinner there last night for the first time. We started with the shrimp dumplings which were delicate & delicious! We had 2 sushi rolls (FRESH, creamy, prepared beautifully!). Our entree called SILK THREAD was simply outstanding! The hostess/owner was wonderful & funny. I can't wait to go back again!

We love to go here to sit by the koi pond and hear the waterfall. The owner is a very friendly hostess who keeps you entertained. The food is excellent and we really enjoy the very fresh sushi. There are two tatami rooms for special occasions that are raised up off the floor and on either side of the koi... More

We revisited this restaurant after an absence of 10 years. It was good to see a subdued quiet setting and the food still great ,We had a sushi/sashimi platter and the seaweed salad as well as the tofu salad. Food was great, then topped off by a divine cheese cake. Yes we'll go there again.

A very good Japanese restaurant in the tiny town of Pearl River, NY. Suki has been the proprietor for many years and maintains quality and service to her standards. The sushi is fresh and the portions are ample.

Food is great, ambiance great, what else can you ask for when going out. Though price a bit higher dinner for three with tip about $80 for all, so it is clearly not on the lower side. But very nice place to go out on special ocasion. Have been there some three times.

There is a pool with live koi in a setting made to look like it is in Japan. There are some tables adjacent to the pool which provide a really nice experience. The food is well prepared and not overly expensive. A small menu provides excellent, though limited choices.

My spouse and I have been eating here for approximately 5 years. Seafood is always fresh and in abundance. You do not go home hungry. The drinks are large in proportion too! We recommend the Gindara...Chilean Sea Bass, Shumai and Sakitini! The rolls are all beautifully prepared and taste delicious! The dessert menu consists of several ice cream flavors...no pastries:(...
