On the expensive side, but good

We spent for lunch what we usually spend for a dinner out. But really, food prices and salary costs probably are no different from Brooklyn. That said, we had the... More

If you are in Pawling or the surrounding area I highly suggest this place. I have been coming here for years and watched it evolve into what it is today and I have to say this restaurant gets better with age. Over the past year I have dined for brunch/dinner numerous times. I am attempting to try the entire left... More

We have been going here for many years, even in their old location, and while the bakery side is fine, the restaurant is no longer worth going to. We waited many minutes before even being acknowledged when we first walked in, had to wait while tables were cleared (by host?? where is bussing staff?), and the lunch menu is no... More

We stopped in for breakfast when in town. They had a wonderful selection of pastries and such. We got a bunch of differnt things and tried a little bit of each. I tried some of the pecan buns, cinnamon buns and cheese danish. My favorite was the cheese danish. I would go back in a second everything was really delicious... More

I rate the restaurant very good............but you need to know you certainly pay for it at dinner time. (Lunch may be easier on the wallet). Seems the dinner prices have gone up. I have been there many times and the food is always good. This past visit, my wife and I had one glass of house wine each. She had... More

I have eaten at McKinney & Doyle quite a few times and the food is always good. We sat at the bar for brunch because the restaurant was quite busy and there was a wait time. You will find the brunch menu extensive and we had difficulty deciding what to order. I had a ham omelet which came with fresh... More

Food is excellent and the drinks are terrific. Dining at the beautiful stone bar is a nice experience. Wonderful hamburgers that are really imaginative as is the rest of the menu. Service is good and timely. Worth the price.

I've eaten here and bought take out many times. I'm always happy with the brunch but have only ever liked dinner once and that was 20 years ago. Too much salt...too much salt....too much salt. The bakery is wonderful, the coffees great, the local art work is wonderful, but the dinners have been disappointing.

first time trying this delightful restaurant for lunch. had the special duck salad which was just delicious, crispy duck along with duck confite on a bed of greens with apples and crispy onions with a wonderful dressing. fellow diners had the turkey, cranberry, brie, pear sandwich which they both loved...shared an amazing coconut cake for dessert. went next door to... Fun place - the tacos served only at the bar are amazing - Great appetizers as well. Friendly staff. Like the bar better than the restaurant seating
