Maybe the best restaurant in Putnam County

This is a favorite restaurant of so many guests who come to see Watchtower Educational Center. The food, atmosphere, and service are excellent. Especially great for a Saturday or Sunday brunch.

The food at this bakery/restaurant/bar remains better than average. We had not been here for six months or so. From my memory, entrees are now $4 - $5 more and other dishes have increased prices as well. Charming is nice, but overpriced is ugly! Here's out entire dinner: one glass of wine, two entrees (one of which was an entree... More

Today, here in New England, was the first bright & clear Spring day, after an exceedingly long winter. For many, this signals the time to take out the long dormant motorcycle for the season's first ride through the hinterland. With that, a stop at McKinney & Doyle in Pawling, NY, is a must. I've been going there now for the... More

I had the Tuscan Special and my Husband had the crap burger. Both were very tasty. We also shared one of the salad specials with lobster, tuna, avocado with salad greens and a vinaigrette. We went around 2 o'clock so only a 5 minute wait. We loved the old wood floors, tin ceiling and brick walls. It was warm and... More

We have been going to McKinney and Doyle's for a really long time... before the remodel mostly just for brunch after the remodel for many reasons like the still most awesome brunch, spectacular bigger bar (and let me assure you they are mixing some awesome and inventive cocktails here), pub night, 1/2 price wine night, the staff, because its a... I go to this place quite frequently for brunch with a good friend. I love the atmosphere and it's right in this small adorable town. The service is very good and so is the food. I recommend trying the different pancakes they offer that you won't find anywhere. Delicious options that are heaven on earth. You won't be disappointed.

This is a NYC restaurant in Pawling...which is a bit north of NYC! The food is excellent but the prices are certainly ones that may surprise you for the setting. We spent for lunch what we usually spend for a dinner out. But really, food prices and salary costs probably are no different from Brooklyn. That said, we had the... More

If you are in Pawling or the surrounding area I highly suggest this place. I have been coming here for years and watched it evolve into what it is today and I have to say this restaurant gets better with age. Over the past year I have dined for brunch/dinner numerous times. I am attempting to try the entire left... More

We have been going here for many years, even in their old location, and while the bakery side is fine, the restaurant is no longer worth going to. We waited many minutes before even being acknowledged when we first walked in, had to wait while tables were cleared (by host?? where is bussing staff?), and the lunch menu is no... More

We stopped in for breakfast when in town. They had a wonderful selection of pastries and such. We got a bunch of differnt things and tried a little bit of each. I tried some of the pecan buns, cinnamon buns and cheese danish. My favorite was the cheese danish. I would go back in a second everything was really delicious... More
