I have been to Bridie Manor for 2 seperate banquets. On both occasions we had100+ people, plus the dining room customers, and there were only 2 waitresses and 1 bartender working. The owner, Larry, knew weeks in advance the final count of people we were to have and what meals the people were getting. So they should have been prepared... More

We were in town for Harborfest and, as SUNY Oswego alumni, were feeling nostalgic. We found ourselves feeling awkward from the moment we arrived. Our initial welcome was somewhat chilly. The hostess flatly told us 'No' when we asked for a view of the water. Someone else eventually explained to us that they were preparing for a wedding the next... More

A couple of us went here following a meeting in Oswego; I had never been to this restaurant before. The setting of the dining room is gorgeous - overlooking the raging torrents of the river as it raced by. Very nice, with multiple rooms in which to dine. The dinner was a mixed bag though. First, they were out of... More

Been going for years & haven't sent in a review before. The deckside view of the Oswego River is beautiful and I consistently get the fish. It's great. But the other selections have always been yum. We go back again and again.

After visiting Oswego with my daughter we went for a early dinner and loved this old field stone building. The servers were delightful. They were out of the wine I wanted but found a good substitute. The calamari appt. was hot crispy and included the best sauce for dipping. I'm a cook and a New Yorker and this sauce was... More

It started with " I'm sorry we do not have lobster tonight", which turned also into, "I'm sorry we ran out of chicken", mind you this is 5:30 PM. Then we heard " I'm sorry your drinks took so long, but a patron backed into me and spilled them". Then it was "I'm sorry your Crab Legs were over cooked".... More

False promises, disgusting kitchen, huge rip off. We had our wedding there. Many promises were made and nothing was delivered. We had 150+ people and had 2 members of the waitstaff to serve our party. When we were promised that Bridie could handle this amount of people. Guests at our wedding did not get served for over 2 hours. It... More

My wife and I spent a few hours at the Bridie Manor and had a wonderful time. The place was packed on a Saturday evening so we sat at the bar drinking Labatt beer where the owner took care of us and was exceedingly friendly. We were only slightly hungry so we split a hamburger (cajun style) and it was... More

We went to dinner with our son & our niece ... setting was very nice, service was a little slow, but it was pretty busy being SUNY Oswego's family weekend, and all of our meals were excellent (everyone had something different - steak, seafood, pasta, chicken) ... We had the artichoke & spinach dip with homemade tortilla chips for an... More
