LOVE this spot!!! Fresh and Authentic

BEST Mexican food ever, by far. Me and my boyfriend are regulars there and order takeout/delivery weekly. Seriously, try the el pastor tacos (pork and pineapple) and the chorizo tacos. They give you the tacos with cilantro, rice and beans; and cucumbers, radishes, lime, hot sauce (by request) for... read more

Los Abuelos has great takeout Mexican food, we've enjoyed the tacos immensely. We haven't dined in, only ordered out. Food is fresh and prepared very nicely.

The food is amazing! My family and I are slowly working our way through the dinner menu and I can't wait to try breakfast. Quickly becoming a go to restaurant when I don't want to cook.

The two of us ate at the restaurant on a Friday night. Busy with takeout and delivery -not so much dine in. Great service with very friendly staff. We had: Seafood ceviche - super, lots of whole clams, shrimp, fresh avocado, onions, Seafood soup - WOW - we ordered one, they split it up into 2 huge bowls. Lots of... More

This is authentic Mexican people! Small place that is very clean. They do a big take out business. Only 6 tables and nothing fancy - just great food. I had the guacamole and my partner had the fish soup for appetizers. The bowl of fish soup was huge and delicious. Guacamole was excellent. I had the spicy shrimp for dinner... More

My granddaughter tells me that the name of this restaurant means " The Grandparents" and you get the feeling that they are cooking in the kitchen and the rest of the family is handling the dining room. Excellent food made to order and served in a beautiful and spotless room. May be tough to get a table because there are... More

My wife and I had hankering for Mexican food a couple of weeks ago. We have a couple of favorite Mexican restuarants that we really like, but we were in the mood to try something new. We did a quick web search and found Los Abuelos in Ossining. The comments weren't many, but people liked it. So we tried it,... More

I've been here once, after reading about it on on roadfood.com. It's a tiny little place but they have take out if it's too crowded, which it may be since it seems to be so popular. I liked the food a lot and the young lady who took my order 'to go' was very, nice, efficient and friendly. This really... More

Up some stairs to 6 tables in a well-lit space with old photographs and Mexican souvenirs. Menu is extensive, and very affordably priced. Beer comes in silly beer-shaped mugs. A complimentary appetizer of warm tortilla chips and freshly made salsa was unexpected and welcome. We'd been "warned" about large portions, and were not disappointed. Unfortunately no room left for the... More

This is a family owned and operated small restaurant with no bs. The food is authentic Mexican with a wide variety of menu items and drinks. A meal for two with the great guac appetizer and two Modelos is about 50 bucks. Don't miss the mole sauce or the steak chimichangas. The place is small without much atmosphere, and the... More
