The food is a wonderful bargain and great BBQ Chicken. We always try to get to Brooks Chicken whenever we are in town to visit family.

We tried this restaurant due to the reviews. The food was very good, the service excellent and the price was very reasonable. Recommend it to anyone!

Without question, a favorite of both my wife and I. I ordered the chicken and pulled pork. She ordered the sample platter. Pulled pork was awesome - tangy, not too sweet. My wife enjoyed the ribs - the meat just fell right off. And the chicken --- the chicken is amazing. We'll be back -- and not soon enough!

Brooks BBQ is worth a 3 hour drive. Known for its barbecued chicken, (that's all I've ever eaten there) this restraint is definitely on my top 10. Easily the best BBQ chicken I have ever had. Great place whether solo, with the family, or hanging out with the guys, I strongly recommend Brooks chicken.

I love this place. Their menu is excellent, their BBQ is outstanding to the point I order all their sauces online just to have on hand. All reasonably priced. You can smell this place from thr thruway. Have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. I now live in NC, land of BBQ, and still yearn for Brooks.

I ve been a customer since 1971 and have always ordered the BBQ half chicken. It is absolutely the best I ve ever had without a doubt. The salad bar always has fresh ingredients and the dessert menu is extensive. I recommend the coconut cream pie. After dinner I usually order a couple of half chickens to go.

Have heard a lot about Brooks BBQ and was fortunate enough to be in Oneonta so my friend and I went. The food was delicious, the bread was warm and wonderful. We both ordered the chicken and ribs combo. The chicken was HOT, it must have come right off the grill, but not too hot to be able to eat... More

Great barbecue; large portions and excellent quality food. The chicken just tore off the bones and was so most. And the barbecue sauce was exceptional. We almost went back for dinner the next night to have chicken and biscuits. We bought the barbecue sauce and chicken sauce to try to replicate the taste at home.

This is a good place to have a cheap meal - the prices are really almost unbelievable. The chicken is quite good, but other dishes are ordinary at best. Our view is that it fills the bill for a decent meal, but it's not a thrill, despite the hype about the bar-b-q. There is also something of a right-wing atmosphere... More

A must stop for any lover of great BBQ. A well know popular spot in Oneonta. I had the ribs and they were very, very good. However, be advised in advance///no beer sold here.
