We stopped in off I-88 on our way east. It was a bit like walking back into my late 1960's college daze...err days. That notwithstanding, the people were friendly and welcoming. The room was warm, comfortable, and interestingly decorated. Oh, and the food was excellent. The sandwiches were fresh, warm, and well prepared, the breads delicious. We'll certainly take the opportunity... More

I've had eaten many time at Yellow Deli in Oneonta, NY and honestly this is the best place I've even been. They have large choice of food and everything from appetizers to deserts is SO delicious. Veggie Burger and other sandwiches are simply mouthwatering. This is a fantastic place with a good service and reasonable prices. Don't miss a chance... More

A step back into the 60s with good food. It was a little hectic on our visit and service was disorganized and slow, but we didn't find that reason not to return in the future. I suggest giving them a spin for yourself if you aren't in a hurry.

First, it’s like a trip to a museum, with hand decorated furniture everywhere. And the food is healthy, tasty, and fairly priced. I personally like Reuben Sandwiches when I eat out, and these are almost the best ever. And lastly, the work crew is interesting and friendly....always!

We were drawn into this place by the smell of warm soup wafting down the street. Once inside, the Middle Earth decor and friendly, baggy-clad workers immediately gave it away as an outpost of the Twelve Tribes, an alternative religious community with a mixed history. The food was warm and nourishing, we had the lentil soup which was as tasty... More

We chose this restaurant by reading the menu posted outside. The cranberry cashew salad was to die for! (delicious bread included.) My husband's Rueben was also excellent. We had to wait for a short while...it was lunchtime. The staff was friendly and helpful. The owner filled us in on the history of the building. An all-around pleasant experience.

Two of us stopped in for lunch around 2:00 on a Monday. We had parked in the free lot behind the restaurant, so we entered through the back, downstairs entrance. When we arrived, few tables were occupied, one or two more when we left an hour later. We were quickly shown a table, and given menus and water by a... More
