My husband and I decided to go for my birthday dinner. We have both never been, but heard good reviews from friends of ours. Our expectations were high as we entered. The decor was very homestyle italian and the smell was fantastic! I was so excited to try their food! Our hostess greeted us, and informed us that the kitchen... More

The food was fine, certainly ok but not the best I have ever had. What made this place great in my mind was our waiter Sean. From the moment we sat down I felt comfortable. He made it fun whether it was patience as we tried to decide which wine to try or offering a quarter to flip a coin... More

This place was terrible..Went in July 2014..It was hot out..but it was just as warm inside..hardly any customers there..Waitress said it would be a bit for the drinks???bartender wasn't even busy...ordered one wine and one beer!!!Took over 15 minutes to get drinks.by this time we were starting to sweat!!!!decided to just get appetizers and leave..Got baked clams...they were disgusting..stay away... While there is a definite attempt to be very good, and mostly it was, I have been here many times and found it to be hit or miss. Some days are better than others and I attribute that to who is in the kitchen. When it's good it's very good on off days it's just average.

Not bad, but nothing to write home about. I have had lunch & dinner here a few times in my business travels to Oneonta so I feel my opinion is valid. When you see the little Italy tagged it drives a perception of Mom's sauce (or gravy) to hit the table with classic Italian fare. I have had the sausage... More

I am rating this restaurant on the quality of the food only. If you like wine, I suspect this is not the place for you. Normally, I don't go to Italian restaurants. I am Italian American and my own cooking makes Italian restaurant food taste inedible. However, I grew up in this area and some of my class mates wanted... More

Have to admit that the restaurant was nothing special. Staff were courteous but the food was nothing to write home about. Many better restaurants in Oneonta.

Twice now, and at visits far apart I've encountered the same problem here. The waitstaff is MIA. I'm not picky, but I'd like to see my waitress at least one time between "Are you ready to order" and "Have a great night." Why offer free refills on coffee if you are never going to stop by and check? We had... More
