Best Of The Adirondacks!

Mark the owner talked me into having something I have never had: baked clams. He converted me, am now a clam fan! In the past month I have had lamb in 4 different restaurants in 4 different states. we were so lucky to find this place open the other night and experience this trendy little restaurant. Gourmet food and cool location- super good wait staff. I had the best martini I have had in years. We also sampled the 1968 port for dessert-it was on a sour note as this has been opened too long... you need to... More

My wife and I have eaten at "The Owl" for years now. When it was owned and operated by Rich and Jo it was a treasure in the North Country. You'd be met at the door by staff in crisp attire and guided to your table. The staff, although dressed a bit formal, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great bar,... More

We had driven by this restaurant many times but didn't give it a second look until a friend recommended it - don't judge a book by its cover! We were warmly welcomed when we walked in and offered our choice of where to be seated - glad I read the other reviews so knew to ask for the screened area... More

Sit on the screened porch! What a find! Worth the trip! Service impeccable and key lime pie to die for! Love it when the owner makes sure everything is wonderful.

Love this place...well worth the trip off the beaten path. Try to sit on the screened-in porch for a special treat. We loved the lamb, the skirt steak and the duck. In fact, it was so good, we went back twice on the same vacation. Oh, and the service is first class. This is a gem folks, and would do... More

It must have been chefs night off. My meal was excellent; my spouses was overdone. A table next to us her meat was undercooked (raw). A large table had confused meal. But the atmosphere on the porch is nice, service good and, well, my food was great.

This restaurant is top notch... sadly, I wish it was closer to NYC or at least to a major metropolitan area. Their carefully thought out menu is worthy of the table cloth service. Mark (the proprietor) recommends the baked clams. Instead of salty breadcrumbs, it's filled with sausage, bell peppers and cheese... bit on the salty side, but definitely worth... More

My wife and I knew about TOAT years ago but never got the chance to go. My sister and brother and law who live in Schroon Lake sang their praises for years. We should have listened sooner. We called on the spur of the moment and were surprised that we could get in on a Saturday night, if we came... More

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal at The Owl at Twilight on a recent Tuesday night. We were greeted by the proprietor who would continue to check in on us throughout the night. We ordered a wine he recommends on the menu and we were not disappointed. The choices for appetizers and entrees were plentiful. I passed on... More
