Nice Place

Nice place to go after a day of snowmobiling. Been here several times and always good. We always went during the week so they weren't very busy but service was good. Highly recommend the Fish Fry.

We could have had the granola bars we always travel with, and fantasized that this quaint restaurant we have previously frequented en route to Lake Placid would be open, but with snow piled up on their walkway and few options of appeal open, even after we circled the town twice, we settled on the "yellow" place. Clearly the not in... More

This is another one of my daily stops while visiting Old Forge . It's located in the heart of town easily accessible by car or snowmobile . The staff here is great as is all of the food that I have ever tried . My favorite is the Happy Hour warm cajun peel and eat shrimp . Its delicious !!!... More

Went to Old Forge for snownmobiling with my sons. Have been to Old Forge several times in the past and know the area well. Slickers is the local hot spot for all the snowmobilers. Gets very crowded at night and hard to get service unless you get fairly aggressive. Food is typical bar food and average if that is what... More

I was there on 12/6/14 for lunch, food was good, a little pricey but not too bad. Our waitress was horrible, once we got our sandwiches not once did she stop to see if we needed anything, although she walked in our area 3 times and when tried to get her attention walked away. We had to ask another waitress... More

Reasonably priced and tasty burgers. Not a huge selection of beers, and a little dark. Pool table. Friendly staff.

Ate here since it was next to our motel. We eat here quite a bit throughout the winter. It's always a good bet for a good meal.

The wait to be seated was short. It seemed like it tokk quite a while to be served after ordering, but we probably shouldn't have ordered drinks because we had very little time left to see the town. Service was good overall. A small place with some craft brews. If you can get a seat in the rear, you'd have... More
