The Adirondack Cafe has become the go-to lunch place for our annual get-together of college friends. The casual ambiance is welcoming and the menu suits an array of tastebuds. The menu items go beyond the ordinary with terrific touches. For example, I had the "Adirondack"--a great turkey sandwich with an extra kick from the horseradish cheese they add. All members... More

We went here on a whim while visiting Old Forge recently. I was able to look at the menu and also liked that you could sit outside and eat. The atmosphere is like that of an old Pharmacy or business from the 1930's. It is small but outside seating helps. It is a small menu but with variety and not... More

Ordered the 3 cheese grilled cheese which consisted of two slices of white american. My boyfriend had a decent burger and fries, but really nothing special, although you think you're going to get something good because the menu looked interesting.

All around our favorite restaurant in Old Forge. The Fish Fry is absolutely the best in town. Ceaser Salad topped with grilled salmon (homemade dressing and croutons) is topn-otch, as is the Grilled Veggie Pita with Curry Mayo. Can't wait until next summer to eat at one of our favorite spots.

Big, hot, fresh hamburgers cooked to order. A bit pricey ($8.95), but it was a holiday weekend. Furnishings were sparse, but the view onto the main street made up for it.

We have eaten here many times and are always pleasantly surprised. From the house made ceasar dressing to the daily specials, everything has been delicious. I would definitely recommend a stop in!

Food was very good, only complaint is that you had to go up and order it yourself, would have been nice to have a server bring you a menu and take your order.

We had a good experience at this cafe, with all the adults and children enjoying their meals. Not fine dining, but that wasn't what we needed--just some hearty food. The server was very pleasant and accommodating, even though we arrived just before closing time. Everything came with a small bag of chips, so we ended up taking 5 or 6... More

We ate dinner outside. Our experience started out nice enough - people watching and enjoying the nice night. Then the motorcycles started up and were loud and stinky, and the waitress came to see us. Young and inexperienced she made for an interesting night. She took our order which was a challenge trying to put the wine order in. The... More

We found this cafe when we were shopping in town. It has some outside seating as well as some indoor. They had a good but smaller menu. I ordered a strawberry smoothie that was amazing! They had burgers, Brie and blueberry and grilled cheese! Great variety.
