We caught this place at the end of September. We went because they looked busy. In retrospect, we noticed that all of the customers were outside on their large street-front patio. No one was inside. My guess is people were attracted by the brilliant weather and not the food. The person working behind the counter got every aspect of our... More

Stopped in Labor Day weekend. The café is bright and clean with a variety of foods and drinks. Service was polite and competent. I got a sandwich that came with a small bag of chips and sat outside at one of the few tables. The sandwich was tasty, but I expected much more meat than the one thin slice of... More

We went to the Adirondack Cafe while walking through Old Forge. We got food to go: chicken tenders and french fries for our son, a guacamole burger and a regular burger. On the regular burger The first two bites were ok the rest of the burger was completely raw. The guacamole burger had minimal guacamole and was raw as well.... More

We had hamburgers which tasted good, but it's something I can easily do at home. The buffalo burger is just hot wing sauce, same with the buffalo chicken.

The staff was friendly and the service fast. Looked clean and well maintained. We all had burgers, and they were fresh. The flavor was okay, nothing spectator.

Loved the food choices; it was very hard for us to decide what to select. Loved the location; nice for people watching. You can eat inside or out; we choose out because it was a beautiful day. A must stop while in The Forge!

Nice place in the middle of town. Not pricey like some sugest. $8.95 is average nowadays for bugers. Great place for lunch.

The Adirondack Cafe has become the go-to lunch place for our annual get-together of college friends. The casual ambiance is welcoming and the menu suits an array of tastebuds. The menu items go beyond the ordinary with terrific touches. For example, I had the "Adirondack"--a great turkey sandwich with an extra kick from the horseradish cheese they add. All members... More

We went here on a whim while visiting Old Forge recently. I was able to look at the menu and also liked that you could sit outside and eat. The atmosphere is like that of an old Pharmacy or business from the 1930's. It is small but outside seating helps. It is a small menu but with variety and not... More

Ordered the 3 cheese grilled cheese which consisted of two slices of white american. My boyfriend had a decent burger and fries, but really nothing special, although you think you're going to get something good because the menu looked interesting.
