Amazing Burger

They only serve one burger and it was fantastic. 1/2 # burger with brisket and pulled pork topped with fried onion crunchies. Highly recommend!

On 28 between Inlet and Old Forge sits a little non discript place. You would drive right past it if there weren't folks sending in reviews. Being from the south we are picky about our BBQ. We were astonished to find such great tastes in NY. You have to try the Big Daddy sandwich. It's a grilled cheese with pulled... More

We stopped in last night on our way home from Big Moose. The server commented that the weekend had been as busy as Fourth of July and so they had run out of a few items. No big deal, the menu is extensive enough to cover. We had pulled pork (very good) and I had brisket. The brisket was undersmoked... More

Food was mostly ok but nothing special. Lots of fat on brisket and pulled pork was mushy. nothing had a strong smoke flavor. friend was upset no burger except very expensive novelty burger on menu. service was decent but not overly friendly. bathroom was old and dingey

Stopped here looking for a good meal and value (tired of the big ticket restaurants in Old Forge) .. Just north of town is this great place.. Who knew? Had brisket, pulled pork and ribs .. All good especially the pork which had a good consistency (not the often encountered, over cooked, unrecognizable mass of orange reddish mush) and sauce... More

We have been regular customers since they have opened. Always leave a generous tip. Tonight, we went to dinner and ordered the usual fare. Unfortunately, the ribs were not up to par - very tough. But that was not the biggest problem with our meal. We asked the waitress about the beer on draught...she described the beers and recommended a... More

This is one of the greatest discoveries I've had in the Adirondacks in my last 5 visits. We found this little place on the side of 28 our first summer and we have kept returning back at least once every year! Portions are HUGE, so make sure you have some place to store then after you leave, especially if you... More

Mountainside Smoke house is wonderful!! You can tell the restaurant was just recently re done with a brand new deck in the back! Prices are average but the food was outstanding! The smoked meats and the mac and cheese are to die for!! Had a 15 minute wait on a friday but not too bad for a small resort town.... More

As soon as we stepped out of the car the smokehouse aromas told us that we were in for a treat. The menu had many delicious sounding choices. It was hard to narrow it down and settle on what to order. My daughter had Caribbean Jerk rib tips over rice and I had a roast turkey & avocado Mountanside wrap... More

We arrived early for dinner so the restaurant was fairly empty but by the time we were ready to leave, it started filling up. My husband ordered the ribs and I had the catfish. The ribs melted off the bone and the catfish was blackened perfectly. We both had the smoked vegetables as a side dish which were absolutely the... More
