Good foo foo food

Food was very good, service was good, we had a finicky eater and they tried to accommodate our daughter by taking the mushrooms out of the mushroom mac n cheese to no avail. At least they tried. Great for adults but maybe not so much young kids.

Amazing food, specialty drinks - great for a special night out - especially on vacation. We've come here annually for the past three years

I went to the Sisters Bistro last week because the restaurant looked inviting and pleasant - I especially appreciated the outdoor seating as the indoors was hot. When I arrived, there was no one to greet me. Finally, the bartender asked if he could help me. I asked if I could sit outside - he said, "he wasn't sure." (Although... More

this 108-year-old establishment is pleasant enough, with comfortable cane chairs on the verandah, but the lunch menu is a little lacking in style and quality. soups and tacos, salads blah blah... could do with a serious and simple entree, such as pan-seared salmon and asparagus with no cheese melt on top. to be avoided is the depressing "garden" seating area:... OMG just finished dinner. It was fabulous. Food was fresh and menu was so unique....and reasonably priced. Live music was the added bonus. Definitely coming back.

This was my second time here while visiting a friend's place in ADK. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. We had an amazing meal sitting in the bar area- focusing on apps and salads. Everything was a "special" for the night, so you might not find this on the menu, but if you do, try the kale Caesar salad. Wonderful... More

This was a return visit for us and even better the second time around. Since our last visit Sisters has a new chef😊...even better than the last! Same wonderful ambiance of this charming Victorian, and host-owners Susan and Jane were as warm and welcoming as can be imagined. Serving staff including barkeep Midnight Mike were professional and friendly. Our server... More

Heirloom tomato salad ...amazing. Also the Skywhich. Great place for a vegetarian. So good! Great service/atmosphere too. From my lunch companion: first off, the bloody Matt is awesome. Made from scratch with a full garden - beet soup like my friends polish grandmother made. Ditto on the tomato salad. We sat on back porch of this 1904 built house overlooking... More

We get up to Old Forge every Summer and we have watched Sisters Bistro develop beautifully. On Route 28, it is Adirondack chic for sure. Our favorite dishes from there this year are: the Porchetta Sandwich with Broccoli Rabe, Wild Mushroom Mac n Cheese, the Veggie Flat Bread and the Crawfish and Crab Remick which was my favorite.
