Quaint place with good food

We dined here in early August 2015. We had a reservation for 2 for a table on the porch. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so we were able to experience the bar as well. It was a crowded bar with only 1 bartender that took a bit of time to get a drink. The cocktail menu had so... read more

Always an excellent meal and atmosphere at sister's bistro. A delicious meal tonite with an acoustic performer outside. Wonderful!

We visited Sisters Bistro on a busy Friday afternoon. Our party of four comprised one omnivore, two vegetarians and a vegan. Finding a suitable place could have been a challenge in a town with a lot of pizza and pub food, but we lucked out when we climbed the steps. There are pretty porches on the front and rear of... This was our 2nd time eating here and we loved the food just as much as the first time. My mixed greens salad was delicious with pesto vinaigrette. The spices and herbs they use make their food stand out. You can't go wrong eating here if you are looking for something different.

Visited this restaurant for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find delicious vegetarian food on the menu. Started with a Bloody Mary---pepperoncini, celery, olive, and pickled green bean. Cup of Cuban Bean Soup---hearty and spicy. Had the Wild Mushroom Mac N Cheese--huge chunks of veggies with a wonderfully, creamy sauce. Besides the great food, the restaurant is in an elegantly restored... More

If you are looking for more than pizza or burgers and beer and want to have a nice sit down, well prepared meal, then you need to check out sister's bistro. It is always a lovely, relaxing meal. We love sitting on the porch and eating brunch. Sadly, I have not had dinner their yet.

We stopped in Old Forge while leaving the Adirondacks. Where this charming bistro beckoned, The lamb gyro burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. our waiter tempted us with the dessert menu. We were blown away by the chocolate mousse. Great texture and flavor surprises. Excellent!

We were headed elsewhere for dinner but found parking right in front of Sisters so stopped in - lucky for us they were able to seat us within a few minutes, and the food was excellent. We started with mushroom-Swiss soup that was creamy, flavorful, and rich; entrees for the group were the intense and yummy Bacon Bomb [meatloaf; very... More

Recently visited Sisters Bistro. Began dinner with an Heirloom tomato salad which was delicious. The size of it definitely was enough for two. I ordered the halibut and my husband ordered the Siraca cashew chicken. Both were phenomenal. The portion size was large. They offer a menu with many choices with both small fare and full size dinners. Something for... More
