Disappointing

Having been annual customers our expectations of a great breakfast were high based on previous years. My spouse and I eagerly visited The Muffin Patch in Old Forge, NY. Perhaps this was an off day for the chef, but my partner's omelet was undercooked and my Bananas Foster French toast was hard and... read more

Went there for breakfast with our grandchildren. There was a varied menu for us to choose from, and service was prompt.

We tried to go here for an ice cream in the middle of a hot day. Screens were up with s sign to ring a bell and someone would come. Well, we rang the bell repeatedly and no one showed up. Very disappointing!

Sorry we were closed when you stopped by for ice cream. It was after Labor Day and our hours had changed. More

When this place first opened it was great. Over time it's gone downhill. Very inconsistent food and slow and sometimes bizarre service.

Chicken sandwich to go was not even up to McDonald's standards, owner arguing that his overpriced pastries were "homemade" although I have bought very same product frozen in a box. Much better to be had in town just steps away.

We visited the muffin patch many years ago , good food , great service then and now.. It was sort of like coming home. The 3 egg veggie omelet was huge and the homemade toast complemented it well. Hash browns filled the rest of the platter.

Great place for muffins and breakfast and also a great ice cream stand. Nice outdoor picnic tables available.

We have been coming to Old Forge for years, and the Muffin Patch had always been a favorite ... had not been here in 8 years. Well, the first tip should have been why so few cars in parking lot. It use to be jammed packed. We had no problem getting a table. Our server was very nice. But, the... More

Well worth the wait. Tons of food, delicious. EverYthing was fresh and hot. The muffins are a meal in itself.
