We should have known better when we saw the "Under New Management" banner hanging from the front of the building. The staff seemed nice and friendly enough, but the service was terribly slow and the food not so good. It was a Friday morning when we stopped in and there weren't many patrons inside. Kind of surprised it was so... More

We were there August 16, 2014 for breakfast. There were 6 of us 5daults and 1-4yr old. The pancakes were tasty. The Lumberjack breakfast burrito was tasty. The French toast was yummy. The home fries were not. The bill already had the gratuity added to the bill, which took away our option to tip what we felt the server deserved.... More

This is great place for breakfast if you're staying overnight in Old Forge. It has the usual menu...nothing spectacular, just good old home-cooked meals. The cost is reasonable, the parking is ample and the staff is cheery and helpful.

Tried this place for breakfast (easy walk from our motel) -- sign says "under new management". Well, I wonder what the old management was like? Don't get me wrong, the people were friendly and very helpful, but the servers are young, unorganized, and inexperienced. My husband ordered a simple breakfast -- scrambled eggs and ham -- and he loved it.... More

I always go to the Muffin Patch when in Old Forge but after my last experience I don't think I want to go back again. I waited almost an hour and a half for breakfast and that was just for cold food. When I've gone there in the past you are in an out with in 45 minutes and food... More

We have previously eaten at Muffin Patch without any issues and that was why my party of six returned. Waiting 30 minutes for our food was the least of our issues. Out of six orders, two were edible. The French toast with strawberries was cold not warm but ice cold and the strawberries were the frozen ones from a bag,... More

The breakfast burritos are HUGE and well worth the wait. Everything is made to order and will take a bit longer but is fully worth it. Drink your coffee and relax, the staff does a great job of checking in on you and all your needs. The homemade muffins are awesome! Had chocolate chip and cinnamon apple!

Hoping to get a quick breakfast was out of the question. When we arrived party of 3 we did find seating outside. while waiting with a pile of dirty dishes as we sat there I decided to clean them up myself and moved them to the next table .. Then i borrowed a cleaning cloth from the cashier cleaned up... More

This place is adorable with plenty of seating. We didn't have any muffins, but the sticky bun, raisin toast, omelette and eggs were delicious. The waffle filled the plate and was very good. The home fries were cold and had so much canned garlic on them they were inedible anyway. You can get real maple syrup if you ask, but... More

We camped in Old Forge over the holiday weekend. We stopped for Ice cream on a busy Friday afternoon. We ordered 4 small ice creams all of different flavors and every one was freezer burnt and the cones were stale. It took 15 minutes for the girl to get the cones to us. They were the smallest ice cream cones... More
