We went here for breakfast while in Old Forge for overnight for holiday event. Was surprised to see it open as thought in past years was seasonal and closed. We met small group on a Sunday morning and had to wait for few minutes. Took way longer than it should have to be acknowledged once seated. First strike in my... More

We stopped by on the Saturday of Snodeo weekend. We got there about 10:15 and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. This was completely understandable because of how many people were eating at the restaurant. Once seated, the server was timely in getting the drinks and taking our order. That is when the wheels started to come... More

Was camping nearby and went here for breakfast one morning. Food was quite good. An older woman sitting nearby was absolutely hilarious. Great place overall. Should probably give it 5 stars, but something prevents me from doing so.

We stayed in Old Forge for a wedding and went past this place on the way to our hotel. Located on the main drag, the red and white building and sign are hard to miss. We had breakfast there two days and found the food really good. My wife had chocolate chip pancakes that were huge and loaded with chocolate... More

My family ordered 2 egg/pancake platters, and a "stuffed" waffle. After waiting over an hour, the cold waffle was nothing more than 1 Belgium waffle cut in half with a slab of cream cheese in the middle. The eggs were sliced up egg substitute, and the pancakes were like cardboard and were actually stuck to the plate! These dishes were... More

We enjoyed breakfast so much we ate here twice. The pancakes are absolutely huge. Eggs are done just right, omelets are excellent, home fries, toast and coffee make it just right. Nice decor as well.

Love Pancakes, then make it a point to stop at Keyes. Delicious pancakes that the short stack is huge! All different kinds for everyone's tastes.

The food is good and the atmosphere is very adirondack. It's a place I have been going to for 40 years....a real tradition and it never seems to change. It has great charm and the food is priced reasonably.

It's really hard to mess up an omelette but they managed. This was probably the worst omelette I've ever had. I ordered it with swiss cheese and got a clump of cold cheese on top. The eggs were barely cooked and were greasy. Coffee was terrible. Waitress was pleasant but service from the kitchen was slow. Table sticky and dirty.... More

We stopped this morning it was hardly full and it took almost 45 mins to get one waffle then a order of pancakes and eggs. Someone came in after us and got their food before us and left just as our food arrived at out table. Our food was actually only Luke warm after all that wait time. I wouldn't... More
