Family have gone 3 to 4 times this summer. Aside from the jumbo clams, I have had their friday fish fry (good deal @ $7.00) and last visit I had the meatloaf. Good meatloaf....I think it was warmed up on the grill. Dinner salad was excellent (just house dressing available but it was very good), backed sweet potato nicely done... More

Read the good reviews but were very disappointed. Pricey for what you get - I don't need a pound of pasta with my calamari, sauce was watery and tomatoes tasted canned. Fried chicken was a bit tough. Very busy but waitress was fabulous. As for Randy, he came out of the kitchen to ask his repeat customers how everything was... More

This was our second trip to Old Forge and our first to Randy's. They had the best scallops and fried clams that I have ever tasted. They give you so much food and the prices are so reasonable. We wound up eating their every night! Randy and his wife were so nice. If you are going to be in Old... More

The chicken was so good, my wife and I both thought it was a good idea to go back a second night. My 4 yr old twins loved the mac & cheese (really cheesy and large noodles) the one night and the grilled cheese the other night. Grilled cheese sandwich on thick bread. This is a great place to eat... More

Randy by far make the best fried chicken I have tasted. Never greasy, always moist. I guess it is the way he pressure fries. His Jumbo Clam Strips are exactly as advertised "Jumbo". Randy and his family are always accommodating. Expect a decent crowd and make sure you call for take out. Always very busy.

It was Tuesday, in September, in Old Forge and we were having a difficult time finding a place to eat dinner. We tried three places and all were closed. The restaurant gods were with us as we went to Randy's...what a great place for dinner. The food was great, the portions generous, the service was outstanding considering there was only... More

Cute and clean little restaurant. Opens at 5 pm. Prices are very reasonable. We had the fried chicken dinner which included soup or salad , warm bread, choice of potato, and the best fried chicken all for $8.99. You can add vegetable to your meal if you want it at no extra charge.

A small woodsia place. The husband cooks & the wife serves. Everything is fresh made. A lot of things to choose from. The deep fried pickles are delish! Thin coating. Chicken dishes are plentiful. There are also sandwiches &burgers. Many types of potatoes. Sweet whole & fried, potato wedges, regular fries. Friday is fish fry. One at $5.99 & the... More

We are just ending our week long stay in the Old Forge area, and this was by far the best food I had all week. I had the fried haddock and it was possibly the best I've ever had. Nothing special about it seasoning wise, it's just that it was battered and cooked perfectly. Very light and flaky. No heavy... More
