Cycling must

We always stop here when cycling in the Piermont-Nyack area. It is very bike friendly...bike racks, outdoor seating, never rushed. Never enough help and often long waits for even simple fare. Coffee and wraps are good and while the cookies are cute, they are not that tasty. Very disappointed in... read more

Yes you will find bicyclists aplenty on the weekends but it never takes long to get a table. Decent bagels, better scones, a variety of pastries and pies and then there is the "morning bun" a flaky, buttery, cinnamony, confection worth the trip. A great place for breakfast with Mom and even better during the week as an AM hang... More

Love supporting family owned business - but this place is a nightmare. Cycles and their owners decked in every color speedo by the dozen flock to this shop all week long. No place to sit inside. Outside is a bicycle parking lot so no seating there also. Each side walk corner also thick with rainbow bright fans slugging coffee and... More

This cafe has much more than just baked goods...all of it delicious, but be prepared to pay top dollar. Friends visiting from out of town were floored when the bill came. Expect to see big-city prices in this small-town bakery. Very kid-friendly. No one rushes you to leave the comfortable dining area & smaller outdoor seating area during the weekdays.... More

It started with a cup of coffee with grinds on the bottom that I couldn't get out of my teeth all morning. I gave them another try and ordered an espresso that after a sip ended up in the trash. What happened to what was once a wonderful coffee shop? They never offered a new cup of coffee or a... More

This is a great little place. Their wraps are the best part, or get there early for breakfast. Try to beat out the bikers because once they come, they come in a flock haha and they take up all of the tables. (Nice people though!)

I came here while visiting my boyfriend's parents for the holidays. I have to say that this is probably one of the cutest and tastiest bakeries I have ever been to. I was in town for 4 days and came every single day. All of the cookies were so cute and colorful especially for the holidays. The girl at the... More

i bought a $24 chocolate mousse cake from this bakery for a dinner party i was going to. when the hostess started serving it, i realized it was thoroughly riddled with mold. it was humiliating for everyone involved. i will never buy anything from this place again.

Having read reviews of the Runcible Spoon when passing through Nyack we sought it out. This was a major exercise because of the roadworks in the town on the day, but eventually after exploring on foot we found it. While the selection of food was fine the staff did not want to be bothered and generally the place was unfriendly.... More

Nice pastries, excellent cappucino, espresso, coffee, etc. Sandwiches available. Local crowd on weekday mornings; on weekends caters to cyclists riding to Nyack from NYC. Wish they stayed open later than 6 pm in the evening, would be a great place to stop after an evening bike ride.
