Skippers is nice but not too nice. It is a place every Northport resident has been to and it gets tons of repeat customers. It has an ok menu, with ok food in it. There is a bar with ok drinks, and its location is pretty nice, near the harbour, with outdoor seating in the summer where you can bring... More

This is kind of a dumpy bar/restaurant. However, they have character. And a great happy hour, especially in the winter. It's 4-7 and has half price drinks & apps. It transcends class; a rich guy might be ther causing havoc or a cool old lady. Or youngish lady. You never know. All of Northport loves this place and has crazy... More

We had drinks and dinner here last night and everything was PERFECT :) I had the Skipper Burger which was the best burger I have had in a long time ... medium rare and good quality meat. My husband had the onion soup (YUM-I tasted it) and the Reuben and was very satisfied. The Roast Beef sub with melted cheese... More

Arrived for lunch and were seated immediately. Very outgoing waitress. Excellent service. Had a Skipper burger and a Chipotle burger. Both were cooked to perfection and were some of the best burgers we have had.

I visit Skippers about once a month. It is friendly, lively and right near the water in quaint Northport Village. Don't be fooled by the bar, it is several notches above pub food, a great place to bring the family and the service is always great. A perfect place to be a small town regular.

My boyfriend and I recently enjoyed a spectacular Sunday Brunch here, and I already can't wait to return. We sat outside, and had a clear view of the Harbor as we enjoyed our mimosas and meals. Our waitress was kind enough to let us know we needed to wait until 12 PM for mimosas because it was a Sunday, and... More

We were welcomed in, early in the morning for breakfast and before the place had even opened and were treated to that small-town hospitality. The food came in large portions, tasty as helll and at a very decent price. Bottomless coffee and super friendly service was just what we needed coming in our of the December snow.

Skippers is close to the Northport dock which is convenient for boaters and visitors to the park gazebo during summer events. It's a gathering place for food and drink.

Located in the quaint town of Northport by the Harbor. Typical style pub atmosphere & food, but if you're in Northport this is the best place to eat.

Having lived here for 25 years before moving its easier to write an overall review. Last time we were in for a visit they refused to take a reservation for 10, they have very average food in a pleasant setting. Longtime owner is cranky and not at all customer friendly. Best burgers are across the street @ Main St. Happy... More
