I was passing through the north of Long Island on a road trip, and stopped here for slices of pizza as a quick lunch. I got pepperoni and plain cheese. Both were outstanding slices.

It's small, it delivers or you can pick it up. A less upscale but delicious version of "a bottle of white, a bottle of red, perhaps a bottle of rose instead..." local Italian restaurant. I love their penne vodka and chicken parm. Their pizzas are good too. Very large portions (you can easily split it or eat it for two... More

Ordered a pizza for delivery, was never delivered. Staff had put it as a pick up- wanted to deliver the pizza and salad that was sitting on oven for an hour. They did not want to make a new pie and salad. Staff was rude about it, and did not apologize or make up for their mistake. Honestly the food... More

They need to learn how to treat a customer. Been going there for years, love the food. They never recognize me, never give me so much as a free garlic knot. Tonight I confirmed they overcharge pickup orders. Done with them. Plenty of good Italian in area. Only went confirmed they overcharge pickup orders. Done with them. Plenty of good... More

I live in Northport & had been to Gon's for an occasion slice of pizza; excellent & well priced "slice & soda" combos. During the Hurricane Sandy period, we had several dinners there. The food was excellent; service warm, welcoming & a good value, in a pizza shop (with booths/tables) to dine.

This place is a couple of doors down from Starbucks and a Greek place we go to occasionally. Neighborhood pizza place with informal restaurant seating in the rear. We've tried the Sicilian and Marinara slices.... Very fresh, zesty and good to the last bite. They have lots of other pizzas with various toppings too... all of which look good.... Good... More

Also try the chicken fiorentino- so delicious! This popular pizzeria serves up fantastic pasta dishes. Their chivado salad is also quite good. I am not a huge fan of the pre-cooked chicken thrown into the dishes- tastes a bit dry, think and balsamic. And the prices are not cheap at all. Still, they have the best penne ala vodka around!
