A pleasant, friendly restaurant with great food. They are very child friendly with menu selections that are perfect for children. They will bring the children's food quickly, if asked, so they can start eating. Lots of great, home-cooked style meals for adults that are delicious. We have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and never been disappointed. Often busy... More

We occasionally eat at Sweet Mama's and were always pleased with both the food and the service. However, today (Father's Day) left a very sour taste in my mouth and I don't know if we'll be returning. We chose Sweet Mama's for our Father's Day breakfast/brunch assuming we'd sit out on the deck. Wouldn't take reservations over the phone. Got... More

We've eaten here a number of times and have always had a great breakfast or lunch. Service is friendly, kids are welcome and portions are generous. Sort of a 50s Theme going on here, but think of it more as a nice diner. Can be crowded on Sunday mornings, but that's a result of their popularity. Get there early. Otherwise,... More

Don't even waste your time. Sweet Mamas is very overrated. Expensive for what you're getting. I'd rather go to the Candlelight Diner in Commack.

Went to Sweet Mamas a few times over the last few weeks. Nothing extra special, but solid fare that hit the spot. Multigrain pancakes were very good. Shepards Pie was dry but had good flavor. Service was pleasant. A fine choice for breakfast or a quick dinner.

My family has been here for breakfast several times. It is nice to eat outside when the weather is nice. The food is good. One of my children loves the granola encrusted french toast. As for me, I am a fan of the red, white and blue oatmeal, which consists of oatmeal, blueberries, strawberries and whipped cream. The coffee is... More

Visited Sweet Mama for dinner on Saturday night with the family. Nothing fancy about the decor, but the 50s kitchen theme is a little different. First thought is an upscale diner. Food was very good and the service was excellent. Prices were a little high, but with discount coupon that is easy to find value was good. We were told... More
