The food was very good view superb but our server did not say anything about special's and did not know the soup of the day. They need a receptionist and the staff needs to know both the regular nenu and specials.

On Mother's Day 5/11/14 myself and 3 friends (also mothers) made reservations and went to the "Inn" for dinner, I have never been so disappointed!!!!! One should never underestimate those they are serving, 2 of our group are/were caterers and restaurant people/owners. The only shining feature of the meal was the charcurterie, although what was advertised was not what you... More

Garnet Hill Lodge Restaurant hit it out of the park for me. The food was attractive and delicious. (I had risotto, and was pleasantly surprised that the menu had more than one vegetarian meal to offer.) My two companions also raved about their choices. The alcohol selection was interesting and extensive. The service struck just the right note. The garnet-encrusted... More

I visited the lodge during senior week in January of 2014 and had a blast. The restaurant has a nice, varied menu and whatever you order is prepared using the freshest ingredients obtainable. The food tastes fantastic! I was really impressed!

After a year or more of being reminded by the Garnet Hill Lodge local TV commercial to venture up to this Adirondack gem - we finally did! Located north of North Creek, it is well worth the drive. Last Saturday, we were extremely rained out of skiing at nearby Gore Mountain - so, we decided that this would be our... More

For everyone who has not been to Garnet hill recently. Give it a try. They have a fairly new chef recruited from a great Lake george establishment. The Atmosphere is lovely, especially by the fireplace. The food is very high quality and delicious. The owners have done a lovely job with the place. I went with 3 friends and we... More

Oh, my! I had heard about the great food at Garnet Hill Lodge since the new owners took over. My husband and I decided to try it out on Thanksgiving. What a treat! EVERYTHING was made fresh from scratch right down to the whole cranberry relish. The plates were loaded with turkey, dressing, REAL mashed potatoes, gravy, onion pie (which... More

This historic lodge in the Adirondacks is at the top of a steep and semi-rough road, but clearly worth the drive. Our lunch order took a while to place because they were handling a large bus tour. That said, the food was excellent; my prime rib sandwich was superb and the same can be said for my wife's salmon salad.... More

The food was incredible, both dinner (extra) and breakfast (included if staying at lodge). The restaurant area has full windows looking out to the lake through the trees, although it is at a bit of a distance. Service was excellent but not hurried, so you need to kick back and relax. In evening during dinner, we had live beautiful piano... More
