Great Greek Gourmet!

Our first dinner in breathtaking Santorini. Great selection of Greek wine. Our mains entrées were delicious indeed whilst a memorable starter was the octopus salad. The zucchini was good but nothing terribly outstanding. We were too full to have desserts by the end of the meal unfortunately. The... read more

The setting and ambience is really apt for dinner on this beautiful island.... More

Food quality and taste is amazing. Presentation as well (if you care about these things). Views are amazing, staff is friendly. It looks kind of fancy at first but don't be fooled, it has traditional greek food and I would say made with high culinary standards. My stepfather had, according to his own words, the best salmon of his life.... More

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to eating here because of the good reviews, but we found that the food was just alright and overpriced. The bread had capers and olives, which would be great if they had told us before (we aren't big fans of either of those things). The appetizers were alright. We had the grilled calamari... More

It's well known that this is one of the best restaurants in Santorini. This is what you are expecting from a restaurant, as most of the places that call themselves restaurants in Greece are in fact more taverns-like. There's a special menu to choose from and very nice wines. Lia is fantastic and very helpful, allways friendly and eager to... More

Yum yum yum!!! Food was delicious, full of flavour and presented nicely. I had the steak with ravioli and it was amazing. Staff were nice, attentive and welcoming. View was beautiful on the balcony. Best place we at in Santorini.

My wife and I dined here at the recommendation of wedding planners on the night of our wedding with a small entourage of guests. We were made extremely comfortable in a semi-private dining area. Service was great and the food was outstanding. The decor was perfect and the atmosphere relaxed. Surprisingly affordable despite doing our best to drink all their... More

An excellent recommendation from our hotel staff, so good we dined here twice during our week in Santorini. Fantastic menu, with fine dining twists on delicious local dishes (fava beans so good we had them twice!), and fabulous local wines. The staff were absolutely fantastic - despite us visiting at the end of a long and busy season, where staff... More

Wanted to sit inside because the weather was a little chilly. We had such a great meal. The servings a large, like all of Greece, so I split a beef and Carmelites onion dish with my frien, yummy. Good wine selection and nice atmosphere.

Went here twice during our week in Fira. Trendy decor and very interesting food. There are good views over the caldera. Menu is lovely and unusual but really nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our two evenings here.

We found Assyrtico on our last night after four meals ranging from mediocre to dreadful it was so refreshing to eat here. We had four different starters and each was lovely, including the fritters Three of us choose the Greek style burger - it was lovely and the home made tomato sauce was amazing and the fourth person had a...
