First off, the owner is the nicest lady on the island! She really puts her heart into the service and reflects directly onto the food as well. My wife and I ordered the grilled chicken with honey and the grilled pork tenderloin-- both were splendid. The ingredients were very fresh and tender, not to mention the home baked bread was... More

Luckily week had a reservation here as in the first 30 mins of being in the restaurant we saw probably 25 people turned away. The restaurant is only small and has around a maximum of 30 covers so make sure you book in advance its well worth it. Its a husband and wife team only with no other staff. The... More

Great value home cooked produce and amazing host. Make sure you book or you will not get in. Free taster and free desert and generous portions make this an amazing value for money experience.

It does not have a special location, but the food is well prepared and well priced. You need a reservation because it is small and only open for dinner

This place lives up to its reputation as being as being a great Fira restaurant. We made reservations and were greeted by a very gracious hostess. Our food was fantastic, the prices reasonable, and we were even treated to dessert. Please make reservations because even in off season, we saw at least five parties get turned away at the door.

The salt and pepper was nice enough. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this type of food that evening. I had the honey chicken which was nice but I asked for a jacket potato with mine and got the standard rice. You get a complimentary starter and sweet at the end. The owner is lovely and happy to... The fried tomato balls were awesome. And the owner was so nice to us. Unfortunately the restaurant is so popular I highly recommend making a reservation otherwise you might not get a table.

This is an absolutely delightful small and family run taverna which features grilled food. You won't find Salt and Pepper overlooking the caldera, it is located on the main road in the middle of town. Expect slow service because the co-owner works the entire restaurant by herself while her husband cooks on the grill. Just order a carafe of white... More

My wife and I visited Salt & Pepper without a reservation and the owner kindly managed to accommodate us. Every other table was reserved with one group who had reserved months in advance! While we were eating the owner had to turn away many people who hadn't made a reservation, so make sure you book in advance! From the moment... More

Had a delicious lunch here. The woman who runs the place was extremely helpful and funny. Santorini salad and tomato balls were excellent.
