Great stifado here! Good value, nice terrasse.

Lonely planet recommended this old institution. Pros: Food: Had the stifado for about 9-10 euros which very tender, rich, savoury, seasoned perfectly. Very big portions for the stifado, we had enough to take away and eat it the following day. Also had a white fish (cant remember) for 12... read more

It was my first day in Fira and after walking more than 3 hours I had no idea where to go to eat. Some local people gave me the names of a few interesting restaurants, but I couldn't make decision. Finally I met one very charming lady in very nice jewelery shop near this restaurant. After she recommended this restaurant... More

We only stayed in Fira for 7 nights. Found this Taverna whilst exploring on our fifth night and spend both our final nights here. The welcome you receive, makes you want to come back The food is typical Greek (an attraction for us) The price is reasonable/excellent value. The warm bread & Tzatzyki (Free, brought ahead of meal) was a... More

We happened on the staircase leading to Camille Stefani after waiting for another restaurant to open. What a lucky find. The food was very fresh and absolutely fantastic and our waiter couldn't have been nicer. It is a lovely roof-top restaurant overlooking Fira. I'm definitely heading for a meal here again!

We visited this restaurant as a result of a recommendation from a staff member at a resort that we were staying at. If you are looking for a traditional Greek dining experience with some rich sauces, this is the place for you. The rooftop terrace has a great view of the backside of the island. It is a nice change... More

We stayed in Imerovigili - about a 20 min walk into Thira. All restaurants we ate in were pretty good. we had a lovely lunch here - I had fresh Sea Bream & wifey had the best feta salad with pine nuts, walnuts, pomergranate. All delish. And very friendly staff. couldn't believe we were the only ones in!!

The food was delicious and the plates were full. Very authentic. The 2 brothers who ran the restaurant were fun and super attentive. They really wanted to make your evening perfect. We went 3rd gets in a row. This restaurant has been around for over 30 years so I think that says it all.

The food and drink here are very good indeed. Service was just a tad slow, but one should expect that when 2 busloads of senior tourists take priority. We get the need to give such a demographic your undivided attention. We thought that the desserts were better than the mains at this taverna. Very nice and polite staff. Not too... More

Fantastic meal in lovely rooftop garden setting - staff really attentive and very friendly. We came here on out first night and came back on our last night and they recognised us and welcomed us back. Very reasonable, 2 starters, 2 mains and half litre of wine for €45 - def recommend!
