A regular lunch stop

First discovered this restaurant on a visit to Santorini a few years back trying to avoid the overpriced restaurants along the caldera in Fira. Happily it is still there and good as ever. We had lunch there 3 times during our stay and were not disappointed at all. The terrace has views out towards... read more

Here we had the feast of our stay. The white house wine (Assyrtiko) is just right and we decided to order the table full of Mezes and share. The Santorini tomato fritters were exceptional, and after that we ordered the tomato fritters at all the other restaurants we went to in Santorini, but no place got close to these. All... More

We ate here mainly because it serves the local Santorini brewing company beer called yellow donkey, red donkey and crazy donkey. This beer is excellent and we found the food here to be very good. Recommended.

The picturesque Fira was let down tonight with what can only be described as "poor". A central venue promising real local ale and traditional Greek food failed to deliver!! For A Greek island the real ale was a good attempt and has promise for the future. Unfortunately the food was ordered and served in minutes and totally missed the mark!... More

Would not go again, would not recommend. The terras had a nice atmosphere, but that's about it. The food is below average at above average prices. We ordered a souvlaki plate and a moussaka. The moussaka was still frozen on the inside so it had to be taken back. This meant that we had to eat separately, to prevent my... More

We came here on our first night and even though it was around 11pm the staff did not rush us. We only wanted something light so chose pasta washed down with a Mythos. Both were very good. Later in the week we came for lunch and had a greek salad and a chicken and bacon caesar salad - again both... More

Chose this restauraunt on our first night. It has a nice garden ambience , but the food was average. My wife had the mousaka ,which was a large portion and tasted nice just it wasn't hot and cooled too quick.. I had the beef stew, like a stifado, which lacked any real taste and the beef used was very poor cuts... More

We stumbled into this restaraunt after a long day touring around. We were looking for somewhere to relax and have our dinner. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing compared to the crowded and much louder cafes and shops nearby. The food and service was great.

The staff was friendly, the setting was beautiful on the patio, the food was outstanding, and reasonably priced. The food was so good at lunch that we went back for dinner. And then we went again on another day of our vacation on Santorini. The Crazy Donkey beer was good with our Margarita pizza.

We hiked the trail from Oia to Fira and were tired/hungry and wandered into Dionysos. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We just ordered beers (try the Crazy Donkey) and appetizers. We enjoyed everything that came to the table. The food is good and is reasonably priced. If we had stayed in Fira longer we may have gone back... More
