We had a great evening there! The food was amazing and the service excellent. It's a traditional restaurant with a beautiful (secret) garden and nice music. I was amazed by the taste of all foods and drinks. I have been to many restaurants but this one it's my favorite now!

This restaurant does not have the views of others in the town, but it's courtyard/ outside seating area was a bit like a secret garden, with trellises and planting to hide the road that runs past. There were plenty of people coming and going whilst we enjoyed our meal, including locals which is always a positive sign. The menu was... More

A local woman who runs a shop not too far away insisted that we visit this restaurant- if only for the baked feta with honey and sesame seeds. She was SO right! I loved the laid back ambiance of the place (including the resident cat), and the food was fantastic. I could have eaten the entire block of that baked... More

We were recommended to eat here by a Santorinian. Sometimes such recommendations can be a mistake because they recommend a relative's place. Not so this time. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch under a pergola. Our order was taken by the owner who is so laid back that he should give classes in relaxation. My starter was the seafood salad. Unlike... More

Kapari is on the main street in Fira, just up from the main square and away from the hustle & bustle of the caldera. You don't get a view but you do get superb food and a great welcome; we were a group of 17 and they treated us like family. As noted in another review, the salad & fritters were... More

I had one of my favorite meals of all time here last week. My boyfriend and I are constantly on the hunt for good, authentic local food whenever we travel and try to avoid tourist traps. We asked the guy at our rental car agency where the best food in town was and this was the place he recommended. I... More

Went here on the recommendation of our hotel proprietor when we asked where he would eat. Very good local food and excellent service. The restaurant does not look much from the road but go in and try it. You will be surprised.

Just far enough back from the main road. No caldera view but nice seating in and outside, interesting menu (aka not just your typical bootlaces from the grill with or without tzatziki). Very friendly staff. Not overpriced, Greeks also seem to come here to eat.

Had originally planned to eat at Salt & Pepper but they were fully booked. The owner of S&P recommended we go to Kapari. Great tasting food with a lovely ambience. The service was super quick and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend. Cost for two starters, two mains, one desert and half kraff of wine was €50. PS- The... More
