Asked for a table for four, was told that they were closed but they were serving other tables...... Very disappointed

We like the restaurant because it is traditional in its decor and menu. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service likewise!

Nikolas is a little gem serving authentic and very well prepared Greek food in a proper taverna-like atmosphere. The seafood is fresh, the house wine is good, prices are reasonable and the host is friendly and engaging.

Came across this place when we weren't especially looking, and were impressed that instead of someone shillling out-front for customers, customers were crowding the narrow alley outside trying to get in. When were determined that the wait would likely only be 15 minutes or so we joined the group and were not dissappointed. Took the waiter's suggestions and had tremendous... More

Don't we put off by the grumpy reception from the owner (it's an act) he really warmed up,as did we, and we had a really enjoyable time with good traditional food. We drank the house wine which was very acceptable - the bill was very reasonable too. The owner turned out to be a very nice chap and we will... More

Wonderful food, home cooking at its best. We had moussaka and pasticchio along with some stuffed peppers and an eggplant appetizer. All was delicious!

This is good honest Greek cooking. It's not fancy but traditional dishes well executed. Well worth a visit. There are many comments about rude staff, not my experience at all. Very helpful, charming and even produced a coffee for me from a nearby restaurant as they don't have it on their own menu. Maybe what I see as joking good... More

We stayed for 8 days in Fira, and explore a dozen restaurants during our trip. We noticed Nikolas always busy so we gave it a try. I stopped and ask the guy at the entrance if I could make a reservation for tomorrow at 7.30, and he accepted it right away. The night we had dinner here we came a... More

Firstly the guy was so rude to us when we came in and assumed we were American, we are British all we asked for was some butter and he told us to go back to the states! He was obviously having a bad day what a horrible man ruining customers experience
