We tried to find this place and couldn't. We then asked several shops and they said it closed this year. The website is also down.

This place might be a bit difficult to find as it is on the road from Fira to Oia so is set just outside Fira .. we noticed it a couple of times when we were driving around and decided to check it out. This place is a must if you are in Fira.. i was in Greece for 2... More

We love this place! Beautiful decor, overlooking the valley, the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. Just check out the menu to see the fantastic and unique pairings- poached pear and salmon, sea bass with chickpea and eggplant chips. Don't get me wrong, we love the Tavernas in Greece, but this was a welcome and delicious break from... More

Don't be put off by the location (on busy main road), once inside the setting and decor is beautiful. the staff are great fun, very friendly and happy to recommend dishes. also, the local wine recommended was fantastic (if you like not to dry whites). Local produce cooked with style and reasonablyish priced... the turkish delight ice cream for desert... More

Saltsa is a unique, concerning taste and service, place on the island. Mr Lazarou and his family, which are the owners, deliver a high-class gastronomic experience. They took the basic recipes of Santorini cooking history and transformed into a new-age form of elegant dining. Especially this summer they have a fantastic menu comprised of 4 dishes at the price of... More

This is a beautifully designed restaurant specialising in contemporary Greek cuisine. Everything we had was delicious from the deep fried white aubergine chips to the tempura calamari, the tuna, the Santorini tomato salad and fava beans. We all agreed this was one of our best meals in Greece.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful sight. That's all. Terrible service, high prices, worst risotto ever had and tasteless, dry pork with an awful (flour thickened) mushroom sauce. Don't go there, please. Try some of the good souvlaki places in the island. You're gonna save money and patience.

Sometime's when your a tourist in a foreign country it's hard to know where to find good authentic quality food, especially when all the locals are so nice like the amazingly relaxed people of Santorini. At Saltsa's you will find rich tastefull wholesome food at a decent price. We went there as a group a couple days after our wedding... More
