Get the lamb chops

I go to this restaurant as often as I can when I visit Santorini. I recommend the lamb chops, lava, local greens and cheese, tomato fritters, and the Sigalas wines. It is extremely well-priced and the owner and chef is a character. The village of Finikia where the restaurant is located is... read more

DO NOT GO HERE The setting appears very romantic but it has a catchment area of local, small hotels who all recommend it - WRONGLY. The food is very average but the service is dreadful - our advice is walk for 20 mins into the town where there are excellent tavernes and restaurants overlooking the sea which are just as... More

We had a really lovely meal here sat outside on the terrace. The staff were very friendly and there was Greek music playing in the background whilst we ate. The food was lovely and prices ever so reasonable

Our first dinner on the Island is Santorini. After a very long two days of travel we checked in at our lovely Villa down the street. Suggested by our hostess as good and local. She was not wrong. We had a couple of salad or appetizers and shared a chicken souvlaki. The local specialty Fava is very much like humus... More

This was our first meal in Greece, and also the best. The spicy roasted pork is a must-try, and so are the tomato-mint fritters. The Greek salad was the tastiest we had. Generous portions.

It's difficult to find (on foot), and well worn, but with very friendly staff, and absolutely delicious AUTHENTIC Greek food, you will enjoy your lunch or dinner very much! A great difference from the tourist laden places inside Oia, and very, very reasonably priced! We will return!

This tavern is located in the traditional village of Finikia. The décor and atmosphere is relaxed and the service during our dining experience was very good. The menu consisted of traditional Greek cuisine that was good sized servings and was delicious

Loved this place. My husband and I stayed in Oia for one week in September and this was our favourite restaurant. Great traditional Greek food in small village of Finikia. Ate here once for dinner and once for lunch. Restaurant patio overlooks the traditional houses and small pathways of Finikia village. Short walk from Oia. For dinner we had a... More

We were staying nearby and called in on the first night of our stay, the portions were good and the food was great with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, called back in again on our last night and had another good meal.

Located in the village of Finikia, this taverna will certainly grow on you as the evening progresses. This place can sit you indoors or outdoors and it has all the charms a small village taverna has to offer. I had the lamb from their spit fire grill which they only start serving after 2000. It's worth it if you ask... More
