Absolute gem!

Although a tad difficult to find through the lane ways, once there it feels like an oasis of amazing local food! We had saganaki, santorini salad, chicken souvlaki and an eggplant special (amazing!!). We walked from Oia and it took 25 minutes to get there, so not that bad. Make sure you do... read more

This place was excellent. It had very good meat dishes and some delicious fava. The Santorini wine was very tasty if slightly strong and we would have gone back if we had had more time. Well worth the walk out from Oia.

This restaurant was a short walk from our hotel and recommended to us. It was very windy on the evening we visited so we chose to sit inside. It is very rustic but charming and the outdoor terrace is lovely. I ordered the lamb as I heard it was particularly good here and I wasn't disappointed. The meat just melted... More

This restaurant was our first, and last in Santorini. We arrived very late our first night and had great service and a great meal with the eggplant, fave, meatballs, trout, and the most incredible lamb. Tomotoe fritters and Greek salad, spicy cheese, all not to be missed. Traditional food in a great spot off the beaten path. Highly recommended!

We showed up late (1030) on a Monday, no one else there, still greeted us with open arms and got a great meal. Last serving of lamb for the day, had a great house white wine, and white eggplant of course. We were on vacation, and weren't shy about telling our waiter (who was great!) that we just wanted what... More

Somewhere in the depths of a wet and dreary English winter we decided that the first night out of our Santorini holiday would be spent at one of our favourite places, Krinaki. This decision was certainly justified, tucking into superbly grilled lamb chops, washed down with very good local red wine. Returning a couple of nights later I had delicious... More

This was our first meal in Greece and it set the bar high! We were staying at Lotza studios in Finikia and this restaurant is just a short walk away. They were accommodating for our large group and my young son. Our server explained the entire menu to us and made recommendations, especially with regards to local specialties we would... More

Krinaki is a delightful restaurant in a beautiful village setting. Upon our arrival we chose to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view. We were offered lots of help with our choices and were not disappointed! We were delighted to know the food we were enjoying was all from the island, fresh, pure and simple ingredients. The fava was particularly... More

With its simple rustic charm, this place was a delightful find. It is off the beaten track and in the middle of a traditional Greek village off the main road between Imerovigli and Oia. You will probably need to drive to get here if you stay in Fira but you can also walk there by taking the road to Oia... More

Krinaki is a cozy, authentic, lovely restaurant in Finikia away from the tourist mayhem on the island of Santorini. Indoor and outdoor seating are available and both are comfortable. It is not possible to drive there since it is located along the narrow twisting walkways of Finikia past the parking area. That location in a neighborhood adds to the restaurant... More
