If you are a seafood person you might ask why you would eat pasta when there is lobster in the plate next to it but Katina's make you leave the lobster and eat the lobster pasta :) We went to Santorini for a five-day-holiday and we went to Katina's twice just to eat its lobster pasta once more. Pasta cooked... More

Very welcoming staff, it's a family business so everyone is very devoted. We had salads, fish, calamari and octopus and it was really excellent! Simple meals with great taste, fresh products. We had 4 kids with us and the staff was really really nice with them, they even offered them chocolate! The restaurant is located in a small beautiful port,... More

The menu doesn't specify how the food is prepared so we asked the waiter. "We only grill. Grill is the best." was his reply. It pretty much went downhill from there. Not only is this place overpriced, the seafood is prepared wayyy too simply. Everything is pretty much grilled with next to no spices, and then topped off with half... More

We were a group of eight (4 couples). We had read the comments and decided to visit. First it is an awesome location, second and more importantly it was scrumptious, authentic sea food and a touch of impersonation. It is a family business and you can feel the dedication Finally hospitality and service were also great so it is a must... More

For the price, would have expected much better. Waiters not too bothered about you, tried to get us on a table at the end which didn't have a great view even though we'd booked n were rude about it! Menu limited, would have liked a risotto or something. On the way back, passed another restaurant on Amoudi bay n had... More

We took a boat trip and were left off in the port of Amoudi with a recommendation to aet at Katinas. WE should have left when we saw the fish as the white cataracts they develop happens after 5-6 days.. But we were tired and decided to check out the rest of the menu. Ok the eggplant salad was reasonable.... More

it was an ordeal coming down the steps. 15 minutes coming down uneven steps with horse feces all over. the view with the fishing boats behind you while you eat and the sunset is stunning. we ordered lobsters with noodles which was supposed to be the mother's own cooking and recipe. but we were very dissappointed as the lobsters were... We ate lunch here after a swim. The fish we got may have been fresh but rather tasteless and we are fish lovers. For the price we paid, we thought presentation and service was very poor. Actually, except for the view, this was a complete miss for us.

My girlfriend and I came here to have dinner, no reservation. They prepared a table in the end of the Port next to a back alley way that didn't quite smell like roses to be honest. Upon sitting down, I asked for a Frappe, it was the evening, and the waiter said no. I had to insist to have him... More

The Restaurant Taverna Katina looks very nice on the outside and has a great view of the sea and beautiful boats but thing is that the service at this restaurant is TERRIBLE and the food is Horrible. The waiters have a very bad attitude, they dont pay attention to your requests for food or anything you need, you have to ask more... More
