This was our favourite restaurant in Oia - beautiful garden setting and wonderful use of simple ingredients. Don't bother with the restaurants on the main street - this place is a gem and warrants a second visit. Our only regret is that we discovered it on our last night in Santorini.

Our Villa recommended this restaurant, while it was nice food, my partner and I had a table near the kitchen and witnessed what I can only assume was the older female cook make a mistake and have the two male waiters (one in particular) abuse her horrifically (along with the other male cook with her in the kitchen). One of... More

This is a must if you're in Oia. The guys are first rate and the food is wonderful. Everything is home cooked and you can tell. This is literally what being in Greece is all about-conversation, wine that flows, great food, and smiles. There's a story behind every dish and the actual setting is ideal. A must visit.

I have eaten at this restaurant twice. The first time I ate here was about 6 years ago and I was amazed with the quality of the food and service. I returned again this past June and found the food to be even better than I remembered it. True, the restaurant may not have a spectacular view of the caldera... More

TOURIST TRAP. DO NOT EAT HERE EVER. The owner/waiter was so inappropriate and was making inappropriate jokes all throughout dinner. He interrupted all of our conversations and listened in on all of our conversations. He also kept putting food on our plates that we did not order, making it seem as if it was on the house, however he ended... More

Another typical tourist trap in OIa. Entrecote covered with bacon (OMG), salmone tartare with a distessing absence of salmon but full of fried peppers, grilled pleurotous mushrooms covered with fried peppers, and a green salad with (well you guessed it - fried peppers). Grilled rooster with spagetti spiced with huge amounts of cinnamon, nevertheless totally tasteless. The menu fish options:... More

We discover this restaurant walking around in OIA. The garden outside is cosy and has magical atmosphere, Panos the owner and Penolope, his girlfriend, make you feel comfortable with their professional and special touch. The food is a great fusion between traditional greek food and western food. You can taste simple dishes like you would in a taverna but you... More

This is the most romantic spot to dine. Just across the lane from the Aethrio Hotel. Lots of candles, did not miss the view that most other restaurants have. Not open for lunch.

Our dinner at Kandouni was the best meal we had during our 5 days on Santorini. The Greek-Canadian owner greeted us warmly and made us feel like honored guests. The service was excellent, the food was wonderful and the house red wine was delicious. Don't miss it!

It was very difficult to find however when we entered it was another world under soft lighting. Two couples dined outdoors had a corner position which was very private and had a most enjoyable evening with good wines and perfectly prepared meals. Service was friendly & accommodating and left us to enjoy the experience. It was not cheap compared to... More
