This place was recommended by our concierge but it barely got a pass from our group. At least three items on the menu were not available. Our sunset view was obstructed by TV antennas, and upper stories of neighbouring buildings. Food was entirely forgettable. Save yourself the hassle of trying to find it in the back streets of Oia. Go... More

We absolutely loved the food here. We talked about the stuffed grape leaves with minced lamb for days. Also had the pastitsio - so rich but delicious - and the mixed souvlaki dish on a crispy pita - it was unlike the others we'd had in Greece. The house wine was great as well. The scene is very lowkey and... More

OK, so it was end of season and a cool windy evening, but alas the warm and friendly welcome was not mirrored in the quality or service of the meals that we were presented with. We had pre-booked and had what could have been a reasonably cosy table (if the space heater had been working). Starters were the only high... More

Kyprida may be off the beaten track, but well worth it! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious! Reasonably priced. The patio seating is peaceful and tranquil. A welcome detour from the often crowded restaurants on the main pedestrian pathway.

From the outside & inside this looked a lovely restaurant but we should have realised when we waited 5min while the waitress pawed over photos with a friend before we interrupted her to enquire for a table. Service after that was fine. Food arrived with myself having the oven baked octopus & my wife the ravioli. The octopus could have... More

After watching the famous Santorini sunset, my husband and I found Kyprida on a back street. We were impressed by their menu offerings and the restaurant did boast a sunset view, but all in all, it was just an average experience. The food tasted good, but didn't wow us, and as others have commented, it was a little pricey for... More

We enjoyed everything we ordered, and even more we liked the chance we had to talk to the waitress. She, it turns out, is a civil engineer in Athens in her non-season life, but employment being what it is in Greece right now, she supports herself by waitressing. She was able to chat with us at the end of the... More

4 stars for Kyprida is an average of 5 for the environment and 3 for management and food. The day we went they had a trio of musicians playing and singing traditional Greek music, which made the dinner quite lively. On the down side, the manager (who is probably the owner as well) was not very helpful when I tried... More

The title says it all. Our server was very helpful steering us to the traditional dishes of Cypress that are the restaurant's specialty. We were not inclined to be in the crush of tourists during sunset, so we opted for dinner and drinks on the Kyprida balcony and got a pretty good view of the sunset as a bonus. If... More

We tried tomato fritters everywhere we went in Santorini and Kyprida definitely had the best ones by far. They didn't deep fry them like everyone else and you could really taste the herbs and tomatoes a lot more.
